We ordered online. The food was excellent!!! Everything. I'm sorry we forgot to take pics. We ordered rolls, poke, shrimp fried rice, gyoza, & seaweed salad. Excellent, melt in your mouth sushi!
I came here and got the tuna tartare and it was raw. Servicd was like yippee and yay and also i liked the bathrooms alot.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in St Pete. The sushi is fresh and fantastic, the yaki udon is excellent, and pairs will with chicken katsu. The Japanese couple who own and operate the restaurant couldn’t be nicer.

First of all, as a local I’m angry at myself for not finding this place before. I get the Ahi Sushi almost every visit and every menu item I have tried has hit the mark. 10/10 for food and customer service. Ahi had found a regular customer in me.

Owner is trained in Japan. As someone who has traveled Japan, this is more than up to par .. it’s borderline gourmet.
We are so lucky to have this gem! Sure, Lure has a pool table and a bar vibe (their sushi is meh), and Good Fortune has cool branding (their owner is not a good person, and their sushi mediocre), but AHI Sushi is the legit spot. Great owner, great sushi, small spot (if the biggest problem with a restaurant is seating, thats typically a good problem in the heart of a city).
If you don’t know what to get, everybody hypes up the sweet potato roll (for good reason).

The sushi here is quite good, the place from the outside appears to be somehwere you would avoid, but the inside in pleasant. The service is a bit slow, but the sushi is excellent and the prices reasonable. I am a local have been here 4 times and excited to return tonight!

Found this restaurant on our way to a different restaurant. We ended up not even going to that restaurant. This is a not so hidden gem. Food was amazing and fresh. The restaurant isn't large but good ambiance. Prefect for date night or even just a quick bite to eat. Food was so good, we also ordered food to go. The combo fried rice and chicken yaki udon. You won't be disappointed.
Horrible food, (took it home to throw away but should have just left it there for them to toss); dreary atmosphere; druggies hanging out outside. Went there because the place we intended to go was closed. Never again!
