The sushi here is quite good, the place from the outside appears to be somehwere you would avoid, but the inside in pleasant. The service is a bit slow, but the sushi is excellent and the prices reasonable. I am a local have been here 4 times and excited to return tonight!

Found this restaurant on our way to a different restaurant. We ended up not even going to that restaurant. This is a not so hidden gem. Food was amazing and fresh. The restaurant isn't large but good ambiance. Prefect for date night or even just a quick bite to eat. Food was so good, we also ordered food to go. The combo fried rice and chicken yaki udon. You won't be disappointed.

Horrible food, (took it home to throw away but should have just left it there for them to toss); dreary atmosphere; druggies hanging out outside. Went there because the place we intended to go was closed. Never again!

Casual setting spot next to Williams Park. Seating was on the smaller side so I wouldn’t bring a huge party here. Miso soup was spot on. Fish was FRESH. The kani roll was yummy and topped with a lot of crab. Service was also great! Will be back for sure.

-Food ordered: Salmon Lover, 2 sushi avocado rolls, spider roll-Review: These rolls were freshly made and the rice was fresh as well. Not hard like you'd get at sushi inc. The miso and ginger salad were also good. It's really hard to find good sushi that's affordable in St. Pete so I was really happy with this place-Price: Spider roll $12, Salmon Lover $25, Sushi avocado roll $8-Portion: Smaller roll sizes than other sushi restaurants-Service: Good. There was some confusion over the chef's choice when on the salmon lover was brought out and it was white fish. The server insisted it was correct but the itamae (sushi chef) was quick to correct that.-Atmosphere: small, no frills, and it's pretty cold inside so bring a jacket if you run cold. The restaurant is also very small so best for parties of 2-3-Would I come back? Definitely!

A must go for fresh sushi & interesting rolls! Beautiful presentation. I wish I had gone sooner! I’ve been to all the other sushi restaurants downtown too. It’s just a couple doors away from The Galley. Friendly, well experienced husband and wife owners. Tiny, casual place but they’re putting tables outside soon & you know, sometimes the hole in the wall places can be the best discovery! Premium sake, beer & wine available. The menu is extensive. They have lunch specials too.

The area Ahi Sushi is in can be a little off putting at night time with a lot of undesirables hanging around. Parking can be difficult, you’ll likely have to pay and walk. The restaurant is a lot smaller than it appears in photos. It’s definitely more casual as far as sushi spots are concerned. The waitress was nice, and service wasn’t a problem. The rolls on the other hand were very lack luster and room temperature. Not sure when they get their seafood delivered but I went on a Thursday and it was didn’t seem fresh. I was excited to try this place due to the good reviews but I sadly did not feel the same.

Best sushi in St Pete. Plus very nice people own it. The sushi/sashimi platter is perfect for two people.

The salmon was so tender it was almost indistinguishable from the avocado in the roll with it - it was incredible! Every roll we got was great. The lunch special is a good deal, too - $12 for miso and 2 basic rolls. The other rolls are all very reasonably priced.
