Gazpacho, Sardines, lobster salad and cheeses were very good. Bread for charcuterie could have been fresher. Good wine and beer selection. International crowd. Our server Wilson was excellent, knew the menu well, and was focused on us and not showcasing himself. Place appears well managed. We will return.

I would have given Bacchus a five star review except for the following. The restaurant is small, packed, and very noisy. Between the music and the loud conversations all around me, this is hardly an atmosphere of quiet. Yet the proprietor had an issue with me watching a YouTube video while dining alone. Really? I go to movies, the theater, comedy shows, and patrons talk instead of paying attention to the artists like a polite audience should, but somehow our society now says that’s alright. Yet I’m watching a video on my phone, which I couldn’t even hear because of how loud the restaurant was, and I’m the problem? The employee said that the other people who complained “had reservations” and were “trying to enjoy their meal” but they “heard my video.” I’m not sure how they could hear my video when I couldn’t even hear my video right in front of me (because of how noisy everyone else was!) and I had to turn on my closed captions. I said, “So because they have reservations they can make as much noise as they want but I can’t make any noise?” I turned the volume off completely. She finally offered to comp me a glass of wine which is the reason they got 3 stars overall instead of 1 star but I won’t be back, and that’s a shame because I work at a college and was planning to bring a large group of students here for a celebration.

Atmosphere is nice with indoor and outdoor seating. Small, quiant Nice wine list and helpful if you have questions. We made our own charcuterie board beautiful display. One problem is the ventilation isn't good so when things are cooking it lingers in the air

If you want an easy night out in Downtown St. Pete at a wine bar, this is the premiere experience that is simple, elegant, and extravagant.

Just had drinks and dinner at Bacchus and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, Divora made us feel right at home. Our server Paul was fantastic, and Divora’s knack for wine pairings blew us away. She tailored a perfect selection just for us. Bacchus Bistro is a cozy spot with great vibes and awesome food. I’m only reluctant to recommend it in case I can’t get a reservation next time!
