Bad Mother is simply a must visit if you’re looking for a coffee shop in the St. Petersburg area. Chris, Josh and the team are all so friendly and clearly passionate about providing the best experience they can for coffee lovers of all kinds. Being a pourover enthusiast myself, it was super fun to stop in on one of their “Slow Bar Sundays” and get some brewing tips from Josh, while then enjoying a couple of brilliant cups he poured from Dak Coffee Roasters. My wife, who is more of your regular coffee drinker, ordered a golden milk latte and absolutely loved it. Aside from the great drinks, the food was really good too. We ordered an NYC sesame bagel with cream cheese and a slice of quiche (potatoes, carmelized onions, provolone, etc.). What’s nice is there is plenty of space to sit and relax or get some work done. You don’t feel cramped or like you’re bothering others with the mixed layout of low tables, high tops, couches, and lounge chairs. Overall aesthetics are very cool and comfortable. Good vibes all around, will be back to visit again soon!Kid-friendliness: Brought along our 2.5 y/o and 3-month old (with a pretty big stroller) and there was plenty of space where we didn’t feel like we were bothering others while they were working. Staff were very friendly with kids and made them feel comfortable.

The best quality coffee in Tampa Bay hands down! I’ve been to every specialty type shop in Tampa Bay and nobody is doing it as well as these guys. The owner knows his stuff and consistently brings in coffee from some of the best roasters in the game. Highly recommend getting a pour over if you’re into that, you won’t be disappointed. Also the vibe is ??, perfect for remote work or meeting up with friends.

Loved the vibe of this coffee shop. Plenty of comfortable seating to allow you to post up there for a while. Only downfall was that I was being rained on with termite droppings. My entire table was covered in small termite droppings to the point I ended up having to leave because how frequently they were coming down. Would’ve loved to sit here all day but clearly got a little grossed out from the termite droppings.

I come to Bad Mother/Stationhouse to work every so often and I love it! It's a big open space with plenty of tables and great decor. I love the lavender latte and specifically the fact that Bad Mother makes all their syrups in house! The flavor/taste of my coffee is always consistent and smooth, and it's something I often look forward to!

The coffee is high quality and the price reflects it ($8 for a flavored, non-dairy latte). It's a popular remote work space and has swanky vibes. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is a pretty dark space in the middle of sunny Florida.

It is a bummer that such a cool looking coffee shop can have such mediocre coffee! That includes both the latte that I got and the espresso my hubby got.The service was excellent along with the atmosphere.Just the latte was weak: it tasted of steamed milk, and the espresso was too bitter.
