Bayou Market and Cafe

My husband found this place spur of the moment and wow! Every bite was delicious. The chicken so tender and the sauce was light but packed full of flavor. Im very happy we got to try a sample the bread pudding. We should have bought two containers of it! We shall be back and I hope to bring my parents along as well.

Great spot for some authentic Nawlins cuisine! Mudbugs are in season now, and Bayou boils 'em up quite deliciously! Get some, before it's too late. David and crew are fantastic and will take good care of you!

Excellent food!

We have used Bayou Market before for catering at our home in St Pete, and it has been Excellent. This was the first time we had to travel for a surprise 70th B-day party at Hardee Lakes County Park for 25 people. The food was Outstanding again... Everyone was very impressed with everything and the fact that we had a gourmet meal 90 minutes from St Pete in the middle of Florida. Dave gave us everything we needed to transport the food and keep it warm and then have a beautiful set up ready to eat in 10 minutes.

Food is excellent. Went on Friday had the chicken sausage gumbo(excellent), bourbon rice pudding(fabulous), and Tina was even kind enough to heat up her last crawfish pie which is 5 stars. Couldn't wait until Tuesday to get some more. Can't wait to get back and have her crawfish boil!!!

Our go to place for Thanksgiving fried turkey and all cajun fixes!

This is a to go Market. We visit NewOrleans frequently for the food. The food from the market was almost as good and we will be going back for more. You can't beat the daily specials

Only reason I rated 3 stars on the atmosphere is because this is basically a grab and go but the BEST GRAB & GO! There food and prices keep you coming! You don't know whT you are missing if you haven't tried this place! And don't forget to grab the bourbon bread pudding OMG for $3.75!!!!
