Cecelia’s Sweets and Vampire Penguin is a family owned and operated desert and snack store located just off of Central Avenue in St. Petersburg with another Vampire Penguin location in Seminole, Florida. Their award winning shaved snow is unlike anything we’ve ever had before and we were already fans of the Vampire Penguin in Seminole before we tried their downtown St. Pete location!We were greeted by a very sweet young lady as well as Cecelia’s daughter and we’re excited to find that this location offered some additional items like house-made freeze dried candy, gourmet popcorn, cookies, delicious premium ice cream in a cup, cone or waffle cone, soft drinks, floats, warm pretzels, and even non-dairy and low sugar options on their small sized snow desserts! The restaurant is super cute with bright decor, friendly service, bar style seating and even a water bowl for your fur kids just outside the door! They have a cute Instagramable wall and the bathroom was well kept and clean.We ordered a warm salted Pretzel with their honey mustard dip which was delicious! I ordered the Blueberry Cheesecake ice cream in a cone and my husband ordered the stunning Polar Affogato - Coffee and Vanilla flavored snow, surrounded by Chocolate Brownie chunks, drizzled in Chocolate sauce and topped with fresh Whipped Cream dusted with Coco Powder. It was mind blowing!We will 100% be returning to Cecilia’s for the wonderful treats and fabulous customer service! Next time, I hope to bring my fur kid for their Bow Wow Wow canine friendly snow made of fruit snow and drizzled with Peanut Butter sauce.

If I could give infinity stars, I would !!! First, Cecelia's is very clean and well organized, with indoor and outdoor seating. Second, the array of dessert options is plentiful, offering fresh baked cookies, freeze-dried candies, flavorful and creamy scooped ice cream, and, best of all, their snow desserts !!! Hands-down, best dessert ever !!! Last, but most importantly, their customer service is truly phenomenal. These lovely ladies were so friendly and helpful and joyful; they love their job, they love making yummy food, and they absolutely live for putting smiles on everyone's faces ? ❤️ I can't wait to come back again !!!

Had some "snow" (also known as bingsoo) after a show at Tropicana field. They had some great, creative flavors. Since it's handmade, you can expect to wait a little, especially if it's busy, but our stuff came out quickly and was delicious.
What amazing customer service!!! And the “snow” ice cream concoctions they make are soooo good. And huge! Definitely different than anything your e ever tasted but in the best way possible. It really does have this consistency of snow and it melts as it since in your mouth into sweet goodness. Definitely give them a try and support local!

The owners were so kind! The lady answered all of our questions, gave us 2 samples and wanted us to be happy with our dessert. We certainly were! We got the small and shared it. It was a good size and tasted very good! She told us the s’mores flavor was her daughter’s favorite and hers was the coffee and both were great. Highly recommend visit here.

Try the vampire penguin snow you will not be disappointed. It is super tasty and very light so you'll definitely have space for it even if you just finished dinner nearby. We tried the strawberry cheesecake snow which we were told won a dessert award in Tampa Bay last year. I can definitely recommend it. It looks amazing too so you'll definitely be inclined to post a picture of it somewhere (no pic here as my phone broke shortly after ordering ) Service was very friendly and we were told about each of the products upon entering the shop We'll definitely be back to try more items
