i would never recommend this place to anyone, had the worst experience of my life here. incredibly cruel and rude man who claimed to be the owner harassed us. if you aren't a cis gay man you will not be welcomed here.

Fun spot for a night on the town; happened to stumble across it on an LGBTQ+ bachelorette trip, it was fate!
Val is the best! Came for an event here in St Pete that turned out to be a bust ,but met Val at the ball and she said she was working at cocktail the next day, she definitely made the weekend what it should have been. Plus drinks and food were top tier!

If you’re looking for great drinks, good vibes, and someone who knows how to make everyone feel welcome, Bradan is your man! I’m not one to ever leave a review, in general, but Bradan literally made my year/staycation. Solid 10 on service/vibes. Solid 10 on bar etiquette. Solid 3.4 or vocals (when singing Lady Gaga). Solid 5.7 on vocals (when singing Dua Lipa). AT LEAST 47 STARS on everything else for sure. Bradan, you are everything (except a singer 😘)

Perhaps Cocktail might consider placing a big SIGN by the entry that it is a club for the LGBTQ community. The weekend night my friend and I went there it was filled, both indoors and outdoors, with young straight girls screeching loudly and dancing in circles for some bridal party. St. Pete has 4 LGBT venues. Straights have hundreds to choose from. They don’t seem to understand that a lot of us go there to ‘get away from them’! The venue and atmosphere itself, however, is spectacular and the security is MUCH appreciated in this day and age. The bartenders were awesome!👍👍😁
