Craft has the best gluten free food! Everything here is gluten free and you wouldn’t know if they didn’t say so. Literally a Celiac’s dream!! I’ve had quite a few things on the menu at this point: breakfast sandwiches, muffins, cinnamon rolls, carrot cake, etc. Everything I’ve tried has been super delicious. I’m definitely a returning customer and will continue to be. I did downgrade the service rating - usually service has been fantastic. The last time I was in, about two weeks ago on a Tuesday morning around 9am, a young woman was on the register - maybe 20 years old. She had a small line. My husband and I were 2nd in line. She finished with the customer in front of me and I walked up. She didn’t acknowledge me or say anything. Instead, she looked at me, then looked at the customer behind me and started chatting animatedly with him. Several times I tried to get her attention to try and order, but she was more concerned with her conversation with this guy behind me, meanwhile my husband and I were standing there waiting for quite a few minutes. She finally stopped talking to the other guy and took our order, rather rudely, as if we were inconveniencing her. Once we were done and waiting for our food, the other crew members were all polite and friendly, so it was just this girl. I watched her pay more attention to her phone than other customers that came up to order. Craft management either need to give her more training in how to have proper customer service or they need to ask her to move on from their establishment because she is the one dark spot in an otherwise lovely cafe.

Golden soup is vegan and amazing. They have house-made almond milk that I get with my cortado which is great. A lot of vegan options. Vegan galaxy bar is beyond this world. Everything is gluten-free. Coffee is high quality. Highly recommended.

2025Feb update: It's disappointing that the place didn't live up to my memory of its food & service. They have expanded their menu to include breakfast sandwich. The folded scrambled egg used for sandwich, the omelette, the potatoes look a lot better than they tasted because the potatoes tasted like they're day(s) old and reheated, and eggs tasted like they were microwaved. The latte was very bitter/acidic. The service, when I went to exchange the latte, was unapologetic and unpleasant.
There are only 4 indoor tables inside the main building on the weekend.

Compared to the last 2 restaurants/cafe's that were there before, I think Craft Kafe has an excellent chance of surviving there. 1. FOOD - Excellent Looks good. Taste Good. I tried their quiche, coffee, and matcha with house-made almond milk, which is a treat in itself. 2. SERVICE - Excellent. Whenever the owner is onsite, he made sure to try to greet everyone. Staff seems to be trained to be courteous, friendly, and helpful. Enough of my yabbering. Go and enjoy. I'll add photo as soon as I can.
Craft Kafe is a solid choice for breakfast in St. Pete. The quiche is well-made, and the golden turmeric soup is a nice, comforting option. Their lattes are great, and the staff is attentive and welcoming without being overbearing. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a good spot to start the day. Overall, a great experience.

Excellent food. Even the gluten eaters loved it. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We went twice on our vacation. I never give out 5 stars, but they exceeded my expectations. We had quiche which was delish. I tried a guava cream cheese danish and it was amazing. I had a breakfast sandwich and it was super filling. And all gluten free. Thank you Craft Kafe. You will be a staple every time I have the opportunity to come back to St Petersburg.

If busy is a good sign, this place deserves an award. With a large choice of sweet and savory options, even vegans, vegetarians and others seeking gluten free options will be impressed. There's a large amount of patio seating and the indoor seating extends into the foyer of the business building in which it connects.
