I stopped by Crisp Waffle Company in St. Pete yesterday to try their Liege Waffle, and it was nothing short of phenomenal! I first learned about Liege Waffles while visiting Belgium last year and fell in love with them. So, when I heard about Crisp Waffle Company, I knew I had to stop by and see if it could live up to my expectations.

The waffle was perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully soft inside, with that signature caramelized sugar crunch that sets Liege waffles apart. The flavor was incredible.

If you’re a waffle lover—or even if you’re not—this place is a must-visit. The Liege Waffle alone is worth the trip!

Crisp Waffle Company definitely lived up to the high standards set in Belgium. I’ll be back to try more from their menu!

They’re still finishing the store setup and layout, but staff was super friendly and accommodating. We ordered the strawberry waffle and two waffle cones of ice cream. Everything was delicious, but I wish they had smaller ice cream cup and/or cone sizes…it is a whole lot of ice cream for anyone, but especially a kid ?. The sweet waffles are also quite large but very shareable.

What a cute cafe! I stopped by on a whim, and the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. I had a craving for a chocolate shake, and this place hit it on the mark: rich, creamy, and delicious. The whipped cream was so thick and clearly made in house. Definitely make a visit and check this place out!

We love it here. We drive all the way from Orlando for the waffles & acai bowls. The exceptional customer service and great ambiance is why we keep going back. The staff is absolutely friendly, accomodating and very kind. Everything on the menu is made fresh and is so delicious. We rated this place 5 star but wish there was a 10 star. We highly recommend. Bre is incredible, personable, very helpful and cute!!

I recently had the most delightful lunch experience at Crisp Waffle, and I can't stop raving about it! The Berry Comfort Acai Bowl was an absolute revelation—each spoonful was like a burst of pure, fruity bliss. The acai base was perfectly creamy, and it was generously topped with fresh berries, granola, and a drizzle of honey that added just the right touch of sweetness. It was a refreshing and energizing start to my day that I can't wait to have again.

But the highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Chicken and Waffles. The waffles were perfectly crisp on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside, and the fried chicken was perfect—crunchy, juicy, and utterly delicious. The combination of savory and sweet with a touch of maple syrup was simply divine. Every bite was a perfect harmony of flavors that left me craving more. Crisp Waffle has truly mastered the art of comfort food, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

My favorite waffles place in Florida period. The customer service is topnotch and we love the food, the acai bowls are delicious and we can't enough. The atmosphere is friendly and the Cafe is very clean and in a nice location. We love good quality waffles. I highly recommend.

The girl working was a sweetheart and handling it all on her own, the star is for her… the waffle was DISGUSTING. It is dry and rubbery and you get a slice of turkey and a slice of ham for like $15?! Took a tiny bite and had to throw it out. What a waste of money. It’s like it’s dough that sat uncovered in a fridge for days and they decided to half cook it to use to make waffles. Not crispy. Flavor awful. Just purely gross, so much so that I HAD to come on here and review.

I love Crisp Waffle Company!! I have been to the St Armand's location a few times and now my second visit to the St Pete location. Each time I go, I find a new favorite waffle item on the menu! They are the most delicious waffles I have ever had! Light & airy. I love the new Acai bowls ... so fresh and yummy! The place is clean, bright, roomy and pleasing to the eye. The owners, Todi & Mich as well as their staff, are so welcoming! It has been a fun place to take my out of town guests! Crisp Waffle Company is a hit every time!

I have been to the other location in St. Armand’s, this one has the same great menu plus some new items, like the açaí bowl. There is far more indoor seating for those FL hot and rainy days. My favourite is the All About Berries waffle! My husband prefers the savory Chicken and Waffles. The mimosas are delicious too ?
