I recently played over 30 hours of poker in June for a chance to be entered in the raffle tomorrow to win 15k. I have been to Derby Poker every night this week and though they can and have confirmed I completed the 30 hours I am not on the list for an entry to this raffle. They keep telling me they are working on it but tomorrow is the drawing. I would definitely make sure if you played these hours you are on the list to be entered into the drawing. I mean I don't know how much they made of my rakes but at this point it seems like a bit of a scam to me

Great card room, okay food, decent drinks cheap gambling

Remember going there to watch the dogs,now there gone but it's still a great atmosphere to be in with good games and prizes plus the service is unmatched 👍🏿

Had a great time in the poker room.

While the food is typically good here their system of bringing out the food, letting it sit on the counter u til the one waiter/waitress see it is horrible. Food sits and gets cold!!! Not a good system!

If you want to play poker they are fun to play with however the dealers will switch to hands on you immediately and make sure you don't win if you're not a local don't play here if you want to make money.

Had a great time there and our dinner was delicious! Hubby won some money at the poker tables, too.😊

My favorite spot to play tournament poker in the Tampa Bay area. I dont like the bar food, but the food from upstairs and the all you can eat buffet is very much worth the price.

I have been going to Derby to play poker for a few years now and the only complaint I have are about the ladies who service the bar.. They are the reason I absolutely refuse to spend any money other than a poker Buy-in at this place.
Without a doubt I can walk up to the bar, they will look me in my face and will not ask “How may I help you or can I get you anything?” Let someone else walk up (a white person, especially a male) and they are all smile and know how to provide Customer Service.

If it wasn’t for the tournaments they are running right now I would not recommend this place because clearly they have their favorites on who they prefer to serve.

The people that work here are so unprofessional it's unbelievable but then again that is typical for Florida. If this is your only choice then it's acceptable 👎🏻
