Food was good but except for the Cuban someone had. They didn't care for it, said it was dry and not all that. Not enough cocktail sauce for calamari which was good anyway- nice and crispy. The grouper entree and mahi mahi entree were excellent, we loved them. Server was a taller blond girl. She wasn't very attentive or quick, hardly saw her, took forever to order, brought the bill without table being cleared or asked if we were ready for it. Was very short: asked order and disappeared, maybe saw her once 10 minutes after food was brought, next time we saw her was when bill brought.
Our server, Ian was awesome. Even looked out for us as we were at the only outdoor table with no umbrella in the direct sun. Moved us when a cooler table became available. Food & music were great!
We had a wonderful time! We had a group of 10 for a milestone birthday party and the staff took wonderful care of us! We had an outdoor table overlooking the water. The food was delicious! Everyone was saying how much they enjoyed the dinner at Doc Ford's.
The grouper sandwich (fried) was fantastic, cooked perfectly. Great ambiance and excellent service by Kam. We will definitely be back soon.
Hostesses are always awesome and really always deliver on your requests and I appreciate that. I always come in and request the wine barrels tables for my out of town guests and you guys always make that happen and I appreciate it so much. Servers are exceptional too. Thank you again! I'll be back!
A very enjoyable dining experience! All of the people who worked there that I spoke to were extremely kind, genuine and engaged in the moment. Gregg, who took our order, was especially fun to talk to and very helpful. Good was enjoyed by all 4 of us. We'll be back and hope to have a Christmas lunch there in December.
Very busy that night and waited about 30 minutes, but took a walk and table was ready. We chose outside because weather great and it was quieter. Food was excellent as usual. We absolutely will return.
We have been to every Doc Ford's and this was the last one on the list. Great great location and the ambiance was even better! Will definitely be back.
Nice atmosphere which is very important to me. Nice vibe. Food was good. Service was good. A little pricy, but it is the world we live in now.
Food was very good. We ordered the buffalo shrimp appetizer, bowl of clam chowder, blackened grouper sandwich, and the sanibel steak sandwich. Everything was very good. Jason was our server and he was phenomenal!

It's an updated bar with a water view that's noisy, dirty and nothing special. Food was ok. Peel and eat shrimp under seasoned and overcooked to mushy. Other locations are better.
First time there and we loved it. Soo much fun and sitting outside with all the boats was great! Definitely will be going back
Cornelius was a great server! He had his hands full with multiple tables but attended to us perfectly! We stopped by for a quick meal before a concert and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was nice and there was a singer outside which added to it! Food and drinks were great Will return!
The paella was great but my orange shrimp didn't have much flavor. It was a nice atmosphere sitting outside. It was very busy so the server did the best she could do.
Highly recommend Doc Ford's. My wife and I have dined at the Ft Myers, Sanibel and now St Pete locations. All are simply fantastic! Food is over the top!
