Doc Ford's Rum Bar and Grille St Pete Pier

Great food and service...hogfish tacos and shrimp wrap. We were seated in the very back booth at 11am with reservations. By the time we left I felt like we were surrounded by elderly care and child care. Gerry was an excellent server.....just smile more.

We chose a later time of the evening to eat for our party of 8 and service was excellent. The chef dinner special grouper was excellent. Our appetizers were all delicious and I especially liked the details of toppings and sides.

Great food, beverages, and service was outstanding! Just very loud so definitely not good for anyone who is hard of hearing :-). But for us, it was fine.

Doc Ford's is a great go-to and it did not disappoint this time, for a little Father's Day celebration. Everyone enjoyed their entrees, especially the cedar planked salmon and the new shrimp salad (love the dill and very fresh!). Good service and had a table with water view which was so pretty. A little loud so harder for older parents to hear, but that's always par for the course there. We had a great meal and enjoyed everything!

Everything was nice but it was just too hot ...we had a table in the back next to the bar ..it was too hot and we were all uncomfortable..literally sweating

First time and wow! Becky our server was fab Oysters enormous Calamari decadent Drinks wonderful and Music perfect! Atmosphere is spectacular!

Had a great lunch. As always the Yucatan shrimp were amazing, messy but amazing. My friends all had the grouper sandwich and they all said it was very good. Our server was attentive and did a great job.

Great dinner! Walked from our hotel downtown. The grouper sandwich and the grouper entree were outstanding. Great drinks and the water views are fantastic. After dinner inside we went to the outdoor bar for a nightcap. Music outside was great but not too loud that you couldn't carry on a conversation. Will definitely be back!

The service was good, with friendly and attentive staff throughout the meal. However, I was disappointed with the Conch chowder, as the portion was small and the flavor tasted more like a tomato chili soup. The Yucatán Shrimps were good, but they could be improved with a bit more spice.

The server Diane went over and above to make sure our party was comfortable sitting outside and even offered to bring over a fan. Fun family time as we brought family together after several years of being together. Family came from Myrtle Beach SC , Sarasota,Fl and Wesley Chapel, Florida. A great time was had by all. But the stage was set by great service and great food.

We had six people in our party and everyone enjoyed their meals immensely. When the food came out on the plate, it looked beautiful and tasted just as good. A very entertaining background singer. We will be back.

Beyond beautiful setting on the water. Very clean. Excellent waitress. Food and drinks were superb. Highly recommend

We love this restaurant.The best tables in the house are outside by the water front. We were fortunate to have Cornell wait on us. We had a reservation and were seated at the exact time. Best Cuban sandwich around. Order the beach bread it was fantastic.

Love coming here!! Great food service and atmosphere. Really missed the lobster roll not being on the menu.
