Coffee is ok. service is usually sub par.
Edit: service has gotten slightly better, very little food options. The inside of the place smells like dog pee.

This place is a cool vibe! The baristas are down to earth and the coffee is strong 😌
Great place! Best staff in all of St. Pete!
Best French press fantastic service
Came here to do some work. Great environment with music and conversation. Service was great.
Having a pretty atmosphere doesn’t cover the poor customer service
Rip off, board in restaurant says $4 for iced coffee, got charged $7. Won't be back
Extremely dirty with smelly dirty bathrooms Homeless people fill their water from their water jug and the mouthpiece of the bottle touches the spicket. So gross.
One of the other customers threatened me, and the owners and operators of Driftwood did nothing to protect me. In fact, they banned me from the property because that guy knows the owner. They told me it’s so that that other guy wouldn’t have a problem with me being there.
Doesn’t seem like the right way to go about business. They believed anything he told them and never even asked me for my opinion All my friends and I have found a new place to hang out ever since they pulled that move.
This seems to be the problem with small business in downtown St. Pete. It’s all about the money and there’s no customer service whatsoever. No value for a regular customer. Plenty of other places to go.
I have mutual respect for other business owners, so I challenge you to answer to these allegations in the same public forum that I have accused you.
Parking: There is no handicap parking for any of the stores surrounding this place, including Driftwood. Itself.
There is one handicap spot across the street down at the end of the block. But it’s too far for me to walk with drinks in my hand. And they never have drink carriers.
Kid-friendliness: Too many unleashed dogs to have children around.
Wheelchair accessibility: I am disabled and the rug at the front door has tripped me up a few times. As well as the rug under the couch area that you are forced to deal with because it’s next to the cash register.

Extremely inconsiderate staff. Almost every time I go in there, the barista is nowhere to be seen. I've stood at the register and waited for at least 5-7 minutes before anyone comes out of the back. Or he just slowly works on other things without acknowledging the customers standing in line, like wiping things down, sweeping, anything to avoid prompt service. Obvious passive aggression. This happens almost every day, and I *was* a daily customer. Never an apology, no thank yous, just gives the total and walks away into the back again. It's a shame, because otherwise this is a great place. Plenty of other places in the area I'll be giving my $ to.

I was just walking by and decided to go in for a coffee. I had a pistachio latte and it was seriously the best coffee I’ve ever had. I also really enjoyed the vibe and the artwork. I actually ended up purchasing a piece of art, and the artist was actually in the shop working on another piece of art. Super cool place and I will definitely come back again when I’m in the area.

Well, that was me strolling into Driftwood Kava in downtown St. Pete, ready to conquer the uncharted territory of… *vanilla pistachio iced coffee*. Because why not, right?
Let me tell you, when I ordered their extra-large, I expected to need a forklift to carry it out. But nope, it was more like a small – like a "baby’s first sippy cup" small. It was adorable. But hey, at least it wasn’t pretending to be something it’s not.
And then, the moment of truth. Was it good? Oh, it was more than good. It was like my taste buds were suddenly invited to a high-society party, wearing tuxedos and sipping gourmet lattes, instead of hanging out in a Dunkin' parking lot with something that came out of a carton. You could taste the authenticity, the freshness, the magic of beans that had actually met water recently.
So, if you're in the mood for an adventure that won't break your back or your wallet, and you’re ready to treat your taste buds to the fancy life, Driftwood Kava’s your place. Plus, it's a great spot to make questionable life choices – like ordering a vanilla pistachio iced coffee and living to laugh about it. Cheers!

Hands down, the best cappuccino I've encountered. Coffee itself was pure heaven, knowledgeable and personable staff.
