Had dinner there last Friday 11/14/25. The atmosphere is incredible! A truly beautiful space. Maybe it was unusually busy but the service was very slow and one of our party was given the wrong entree and then had to wait 15 minutes before it was replaced with the one that was ordered.
The wine pours were literally the smallest I have ever been served!! The food was good but confusing I ordered the pasta with shrimp and calamari, when it arrived it only had shrimp! When asked what happened to the calamari ( I assumed it was a mistake) I was told that the calamari was crushed into the sauce and that’s why you can’t see it. Well on the menu it clearly stated shrimp and calamari! Not shrimp with a calamari and tomato sauce! The endive salad was very good but I was surprised that as I stated when ordering that I was sharing with my dinner companion that they did not split it, usually in a high end restaurant if you are sharing a dish it gets split in the kitchen ( it was also served without serving utensils) However,I would return because I think it may have been an off night because it was so busy, but they clearly were under staffed. Although the calamari mystery would be disappointing with or without poor service.

I’m in the food and beverage industry, and let me just say—this is the place to go! From the moment I walked in, the service was next-level. They somehow knew where I worked, which made the experience feel incredibly thoughtful and personal. I genuinely felt like a celebrity.

Andrew was phenomenal—warm, attentive, and absolutely on point throughout the entire evening. And the food? Out. Standing. Do yourself a favor and order the focaccia, the chopped salad, the lamb, and the vodka pasta. Every single dish was a knockout. The lamb especially—holy moly!

Already counting down the days until my next visit with Andrew!

I’m told the food experience here is absolutely first class. However, our first experience was at the perfectly appointed and perfectly lit bar at the front that serves the best of the best. Check out these two spectacular pours. A traditional old-fashioned and Blanton’s Gold neat for the win. This is the premier restaurant within the fabulous Vinoy Resort in St. Pete. Get here by any means and enjoy every second of it!

6 of us went and shared almost every menu item. For how much we spent it was well worth it. Our server David was Top notch!!! He engaged with us and helped us with our menu picks. Highly recommend sharing multiple plates and starting with a cocktail and ending with an espresso martini. We will def be back #sunshinereviews

Wow- what an experience.

My HUSBAND and I got married on 11/7- booked Elliot aster for 11/8. We noted on the reservation we had just gotten married.

We felt like celebrities walking in. The hosts were ecstatic for us- so kind, so warm, so genuinely happy for us. We were sat at the best table on the restaurant- right under the olive tree. champagne was served and we were blown away at the quality. Excellent cocktails too!!

Andrew was our server- and boy did he hit it out of the park. Excellent customer service, professional, kind, really made it an experience. Andrew was highly knowledgeable and really helped us curate an experience.

At the end of the evening we were treated to some free desserts- both of which absolutely blew our minds.

We tried the focaccia pull apart bread, the chopped salad, an 8oz steak, potatoes and a pasta dish- everything was perfect. We cannot wait to go back.

We will likely dine here every year for our anniversary. It was beyond special. A night we will remember for the rest of our lives. We are so thankful!

What a treat Elliot Aster was to dine at.

Ambience is impeccable, gave an old school yet modern vibe. The decor was high end yet comfortable. Everyone in the dining area was dressed beautifully. Lounge area was definitely more relaxed and great for a quick bite or drink before a night out.

Service was great from the second we walked in. The hostess greeted us and was so pleasant. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and they had subtle, nice touches like “happy birthday” written on their menu. Our waiter, Chris was great too. Patient, witty, knowledgeable about the menu and was very attentive.

As vegetarians, our waiter was very aware of ingredients in every dish and we could make modifications accordingly. The food was delicious. Started off with the artichoke dip which was bright with subtle citrus notes that just made it pop and overall just flavorful. Gnocchi was perfectly pillowy, fluffy and just melted in your mouth. The pesto was spot on. We also got the eggplant lasagna that was absolutely delicious, innovative and looked beautiful. They also comped our dessert for my husbands birthday which was a lovely touch!

Definitely on the pricier side of the budget but overall we had a great experience and would go back!

Spectacular barely describes our first dinner at Elliott Aster. First the service was impeccable, every piece from greet to goodbyes. Experience matters and the wait staff were on their game last night. I have enjoyed a lifetime of fine dining all over the world and this place is easily top 1%. We have enjoyed fresh fish in Destin for years and last night. may be the best grouper I have ever tasted. One of us had a filet and it was perfection as well. It was incredibly tender with even better flavor. Puréed potatoes were off the chart and if you dine here, the pull apart focaccia is incredible, don’t miss it. This place is a great addition to DTSP and should be at the top of everyone’s dining out list. It is rather hidden in the Vinoy but the atmosphere is perfect. Spectacular is all there is to say about the entire evening.

Came in August. Booked a reservation a week in advance for a friend's birthday at 8pm but still had to wait an extra hour and a half. 90% sure a smaller walk in was given a table before us. Was given a insincere apology while the young host kept staring at us with condescending looks while waiting. Don’t bother bringing your own birthday cake; they actually charge a cutting fee with no warning.

Our anniversary dinner at Elliott Aster was nothing short of sublime. Shera and Jonathan delivered an evening that felt intentionally curated from start to finish. The focaccia pull-apart bread was warm, airy perfection, and the Caesar salad was—without exaggeration—the best I’ve ever had. Each course was beautifully composed, with flavors that built into something extraordinary. The service struck the ideal balance of attentive and relaxed, making us feel genuinely celebrated without ever being rushed. This was more than a dinner…it was an experience. We left already talking about when we’ll be back.

My girlfriend and I visited for her birthday dinner this week. The ambiance was fantastic. Beautiful chandeliers, delicate glassware, good music and proper lighting set the mood for a a great date. Alana was our server and she was all class. She gave great recommendations for food and wine while going the extra mile to make our time special. Another server named Andrew recognized us as locals and went out of his way to help check on us even though we weren’t his table. I had the grouper and would go back just to have it again. Everything that hit our table was delicious including the cocktails.

We had a great experience and would highly recommend checking this place out if you haven’t already.
