This place is a joke i tried to order and the lady told me u can just order online, that’s crazy…..
The place looks like it's only halfway ready to receive customers. I've never seen so much older, dried out, nasty food.

Price reflects the quality. Food well prepared, great presentation, freshness! The food was good not gonna lie!!! Had to give them a go. Thanks Golden

Black lady that is always behind counter is very rude. Did not ask me what size order I wanted. Instead assumed Large order. Was very rude at the counter. Do not recommend if you see her.

Man if you dont like your job in this place quit.Lady was very Rudeeee and the food she gave me was all bones no meat. (CURRY CHICKEN). She had a customer infront of me, ready to order. Then she asked me can i help you. Well me being an respectful dude. I wasnt gonna stepp infront of the man. So i gave her the he was first look. Mannn i saw fire in her eyes after that. So i started to tell her my order. Mannn she switched and started talking to the guy infront of me at the beginning. Then started checking his glasses out he was showing her. And lally gagging with the dude. Im like whattt just happened.

If I could provide negative stars, I would. This place has gone downhill for years but my most recent experience was the one from Hell. NEVER AGAIN!

So i don't understand how they have the schedule at the door, and even in maps, it says they close at 8 pm. I just arrived at 7:09 p.m., and it was already closed. There was someone inside but still told me it was closed. Didn't even get to try their food

EXTREMELY HOT INSIDE RESTAURANT!! Why is there no A/C in this establishment? If I’m hot for a few minutes of purchasing food I can only imagine the workers having to deal with this. I saw the lady at the front using a paper fan to try and cool down. This is downright ridiculous. They can pass out from that heat. What if a customer comes in and after a few minutes of being there they pass out? That’s a lawsuit on your hands. FIX IT!!!

I usually go here for the beef Patties but for a while now I’ve noticed the changes in the beef patty. It’s more crust and less meat. It’s not as juicy and flaky like it used to be with thinner crust. Every bite the meat used to just roll out the patty and you have to be careful not to waste any of it because it was so good. Now it’s thicker crust which means it’s more hard due to longer bake time and the meat is so little and has lost its flavor. Sometimes the crust is even a bit undercooked in some parts and it’s just doughy. I stopped getting them. Now I just get the fried chicken either by itself or the meal. If you haven’t tried the fried chicken here then you my friend are missing out!!!!

No menu is VERY annoying. If I had a dollar for every time someone asked for a menu in my presence I would have thousands of dollars right now. I can only imagine that means the business is also losing money for all the customers who chose not to purchase simply because of not having a menu…. There’s screens displayed but they’re never on. I’ve seen people walk in just because they smelled the food, they ask for a menu they’re told there’s none and to go online and they walk out. As a business your job and duty is to keep customers in the store so I’m confused as to how this approach helps. The menu online is horrible too. Too much clicking and not enough info. The website needs a bit of development. More inviting and eye capturing. Me personally I would probably have a feel for something different every-time I go inside just because of a menu. But without a menu if my taste buds feel for curry chicken I will only go in there and get curry chicken and leave…..

Why doesn’t this location serve porridge more frequently? I’ve been to Golden krust in NYC, and Orlando and they all serve different types of porridge on different days. But this location serves on one day which is Saturday but it’s never the same porridge. You would have to cross your fingers and hope that this is the week they serve the one you like. Imagine waiting 3-4 weeks for your porridge. Oatmeal, banana porridge, cornmeal, harmony corn, peanut, banana oatmeal combo, banana cornmeal combo, like come on. Different days different options. 3 days a week at least. It taste so delicious too so why not?

The juices here are so great. I’m not a turmeric fan but if you are then I think you would love it. I love them all. No complaints here.

The restaurant itself is not inviting enough. I think a complete remodel, something more like the Orlando location where customers can see their food being prepared and they can have a visual of what food is available that’s more inviting to me. Instead of the lady having to constantly repeat what’s available behind her back. I can only imagine how many times per day they have to repeat that to customers. Complete remodel would really suffice. This is just my opinion and views of it all. But again the menu would eliminate the need for a total remodel.

The two ladies in the front are amazing. One nicer and more welcoming than the other but they both get the job done. Ask anybody.. if I go into a Jamaican restaurant and I don’t get a little attitude I might walk out lol ? it means the food taste good!!!!! Take it or leave it!! It doesn’t excuse the behavior. Not everyone wants to be talked to rudely and you never know what type of day a person is having so you always want to be welcoming with EVERYONE but overall the food is good here. I totally recommend AFTER they fix the A/c….

The medium spicy curry goat and chicken are a MUST!! The fluffy bean rice pilaf and mixed sautéed veggies that come with are delicious too! I love finding this awesome discovery.

This is the second time I sent for the curry goat lunch special with no rice and I got mostly bones and a dry plantain. Yall need to do better.

No visible menu on the counter or big one on display. Customer was in front of me still paying for meal and she took my order not being finish with the person in front of me. There was hair in my curry goat taste was good but not flavorful

Great food don't be a glutton though or you'll choke on bone the food is traditional and they make their patties fresh every morning love stopping in to grab a bite

Recommended dishes: Curried Goat

Ordered curry chicken today and was instantly disappointed. Chicken and cabbage ice cold , rice on bottom Luke warm, Flavor was awful, curry looked orange and definitely was not Jamaican cooked. Cashier had stink attitude and smelled like ben-gay cream. I also had a roti skin on the side that busted apart when I opened the package in was microwaved in and about a cup of crushed powder (supposed to be peas) was everywhere spilling out, Nasty food , never again,
