Good Fortune St. Pete

Came here with my boyfriend, drinks were delicious. We both got sushi rolls, cash money n the kitty roll which were really yummy. I also got fried rice which was delicious. The inside is super cute and they have karaoke.. would recommend.

I’m not the person to write a review but this was the worst experience i’ve ever had service wise. first we were seated down at a table and waited 16 minutes for our server to acknowledge us. After bringing us waters and drinks menus she came back around to take drink orders and way later food orders. After taking our food orders we didn’t see her again till we were almost finished eating. I had to ask the food runners and the host many times for silverware so we can eat our food but we were told they ran out and we will have to wait for then to wash them and roll them. by the time they brought silverware our food was cold and we still haven’t seen our waiter. also our waters have been empty and I told this to our server and she never brought us water. so we ate cold food with no silverware or water. But this was not the reason for writing this review. When it came to cash out our table was separated into two checks the first check my friends were paying on card and was going to tip cash so when it came to write the tip out on the handheld they wrote 0%. When it was time for me to cash out we joked with the waiter about a discount for not having silverware or water. we handed her the cash and she proceeded to tell us no discount because she received a zero dollar tip not knowing she was receiving a cash tip. She then proceeded to tell us rudely the reasoning for her poor service was because she had two other tables that were large and didn’t have time to take care of us. I was in shock that I was talk to like that. I wish i knew the girls name so people can ask not to have her and get there experience ruined but they don’t have name tags. if you want a cool dining experience with great service there are many other restaurants in St. Pete to experience then this place.

Morning . . . This message is for Adrianna of Good Fortune Restaurant who left me a message yesterday [8/8/2025] regarding my 5:30PM reservation. I cancelled the reservation at 12:46PM because I was quite sick. I followed the Open Table procedure. Open Table asked to confirm my CP# and email address. Open table sent me the code 754891 and 890060 respectively. Adrianna apparently called 5:55PM. I could not answer the call because I fell asleep since I was not feeling well. Adrianna indicated my credit card will be charge. That is NOT FAIR. My friends and I were planned an early dinner time to try the Restaurant food, we were NOT there for the Karaoke. I should not be charge for cancelling the reservation when I did the proper protocol.

The atmosphere was perfect ! I had such a great time , the meal was sooo good . Our server Carrie was the sweetest . So helpful as it was my first time there ! Over all 10/10 experience!

We went in for service industry night and the deal was fantastic. The server was wonderful and very nice.
The food was really tasty. The shishito peppers and shrimp were deep-fried and really big.
The atmosphere is really great and fun.
The cocktails were too. I had the local version of a espresso martini and it tasted good.

Great restaurant. The aura was nice. It's almost like a hidden gem as you enter going down into the restaurant. Food was excellent. They even have a hidden room for private parties!

I took my friend out for her birthday, and she chose to come here. It was my first time and although I thought some of the portions were small, such as the salmon nachos and crab rangoons, they were delicious. Deep fried sushi roll was delicious and I had a really yummy drink that was recommended by the server; it was on special for the 4th of July and I couldn’t resist ordering a second one. The atmosphere is gorgeous with cherry blossom trees, mood lighting, and Asian art. Excited to come back!

We rented a karaoke room for an hour for a Bachlorette trip! We had such a blast! They keep the room nice and cool and service was amazing. The karaoke messed up for a few minutes and it was immediately fixed by staff who then offered us an extra 15 minutes due to the technical difficulties! We had dinner in the restaurant after and everything was very tasty. I highly recommend taking your crew here! You won't regret it!

My friends and I had such a good time here! There were issues with our reservation and Sara and Giselle very kindly helped us figure things out and made space for us! Our waiter Bryce was also amazing! He was attentive and very helpful when we had questions about the menu! The DJ for the night also set the ambience even more! We had a great night! We ate we laughed and we danced!

Very disappointed… I was very excited to come and have dinner here today, but unfortunately the service did not meet our expectations. After waiting for a very long time, we had to ask the host if we had an assigned server. Eventually, our server brought us waters and apologized for the wait. He took our appetizer and drink orders and never came back. He walked past us multiple times and talked to the table behind us at least 4 different times as we waited to order. We tried to look around and grab someone’s attention but no one was looking. We didn’t get to order our main course, we got so frustrated that when we finally caught his attention we just checked out and came down to eat at a Mexican place down the street. I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but as a server myself, I understand the struggle of being super busy, but he could’ve managed the situation differently, given that he was talking to the table right behind us for the longest time, he could’ve came by and checked on us.

Good food bad waiter, rude and with bad attitude, we asked for a cake and they never brought it to our table, we were celebrating our friend birthday, really bad service.

I asked for it again, and she just said I don’t charge for it, when it was her fault. We clearly ordered it. Not a good experience.
