The cocktail menu is fun. We had their drunken noodles which were absolutely delicious. It’s a basement restaurant (5-6 steps down off 1st and S) so the ambiance isn’t totally my vibe but that is all I can really complain about. We were very happy with our cocktails and entrees. I’m guessing they have a good late night scene because their happy hour begins at 9pm.

Despite the cool ambiance of this restaurant, it was possibly one of the most disappointing aspects of our trip.Our bachelorette party had made a reservation weeks ago as we are visiting from out of town. Upon ordering drinks, our server told us they could only take our passports and not our government issued IDs since and therefore could not serve us any alcohol. We are all in our mid 30s too! When we asked to speak with the manager to clarify more, we were met with a woman with a rude & condescending tone.When we asked why we weren’t informed of this “info” when we originally made our reservation & also a few hours prior when they called to confirm… she said it wasn’t the hostess’ responsibility nor theirs to inform us - then stormed off.A few of us ended up staying since a couple of the girls decided to drive back to the Airbnb get all of our passports since that manager claimed it’s part of the ATL law & that no other restaurant / bar will serve us alcohol (which btw not true). This ordeal caused them to miss our entire dinner. We had also booked the karaoke room which ended up being a slight delayed start too.While the food & sushi were delicious at first … however we all got some sort of a stomachache after so all in all, it was just a disappointing & terrible experience from beginning to end with possibly the worst service we’ve seen from management.

Disappointing, as this was my second time here and it was not a great experience. At first, the host seated us and forgot to give us menus but no big deal. Then we waited 15 minutes for our server to come over to our table and introduce herself. Once she realized we had no menus and brought those over we ordered some appetizers and water to drink immediately. It was no more than 5 minutes later that our appetizers arrived without even getting our water or silverware yet. The apps tasted like they had been sitting for a while and not fresh. Then the music got insanely loud as if we were at a concert or nightclub (around 8pm). It was so loud that when we asked the server if there was a quieter table she said there were none and then avoided us. Once we got her attention, we had to ask for our entrees to be prepared to go. Would not recommend this place if you are looking for a date night spot or to take anyone who you would like to have a conversation with.

Food was good but service was really lacking, we got forgotten about in the back corner. We asked another waiter for some more drinks but he never brought them, then asked a third waiter to send our waiter to us to we could order but they never did either. We sat for about 45 minutes with empty plates and empty water glasses at the table. People were friendly but I won’t go back. Need much more attention to service, then the waitress even asked for a 33% tip as the default setting. I did still tip well but thought that wasn’t very cool.

Anything baked is terrible both the milkbread and the buttercake were so dry and tough, the boba was hard in the middle for two drinks as well. I've given this place two chances and it misses the mark. The aesthetic is nice, the servers are great but the kitchen needs to get it together. Very disappointing, especially for $100+

WARNING HAZARDOUS FOOD. Went here for my birthday dinner, my first dish came out with a MAGGOT crawling around. Manager was completely indifferent and condescending saying it was “just a caterpillar larvae.” They still made us pay for drinks that did not come until after our food came out and was taken back and we were cashing out to leave because we were so disgusted. I have never had a worst restaurant experience in my life let alone a “manager” try to gaslight me about a literal maggot crawling around my food. I called them back to let them know how embarrassed I was on my birthday and how horrible it was to try and tell me it was just a caterpillar and ask if I wanted anything else, and the manager stated “this conversation is done and did not do a thing.

I will definitely say this place is fantastic. I went around 930pm so kinda late but love the atmosphere. A great place if you want to get out and listen to music an drink.Micheal the bartender was great had japoneses Whisky Coffee and eggs rolls it was great. I will say the menu is small plates and sushi so just don't expect to get full. ALSO I have to mention the dj was one of the best mixed music dj's I heard.

Ordered shrimp fried rice and it was not good at all. My wife ordered a poke bowl and she did eat about 1/2 or so. She said it lacked flavor. Filthy restroom and really sticky floors.

Visited here for the first time ever on a Thursday evening. We had reservations and were seated immediately. I got the sushi which was delicious. Fresh and very tasty. My friend got ramen which was not great and lacked seasoning. It had rib meat in it that was super tough. The bread dessert was delicious and the cocktails were yummy too. Our waiter was having a rough go of it. We were at our table for just over 2 hours. Could barely get him to make eye contact when we were clearly ready to go. Drinks and food took a very long time to come out as well. They didn’t seem that busy either. Overall sushi was good , service was lacking.
