I have to say it took some time but this place really grew on me over the years. I’d stop in here and there since they opened really but my last few trips have really won me over.

Addy, Liv, and Drew are always the best vibes out of all the employees here. Great service from them and incredible workspace upstairs.

Only place in town with good Kratom that isn’t super gritty but still packs a little punch.

Awesome place with a “cheers-like” feel from knowing the staff and the people who stop in and it’s wonderful. If I had one ask, others too btw, please play the headbanger music after 10pm. Can’t work, study or hear yourself think. Thanks!

Grassroots was the first establishment I ever stepped foot in when I arrived in St. Pete 2018. Super welcoming space. It’s one of the reasons I knew I would move here. Glad to see how much it has grown even since then. I go frequently to relax, or get work done in their upstairs space! They even have events for health professionals and wellness practitioners. Whether it’s teas, tinctures, or just good vibes, Grassroots never disappoints. The staff is always super knowledgeable and friendly, and they make you feel right at home the second you walk in. Their selection is amazing—you can tell everything is thoughtfully sourced and high-quality.

I’ve brought just about everyone I know here at this point, and they all leave loving it just as much as I do. It’s a gem in St. Pete and I’m so grateful to have a place like this nearby. If you haven’t been yet… go! And bring a friend. 🌿💚

My go-to spot in Downtown St. Pete — hands down.

The coffee here hits every time, especially the cold brew. That caffeine boost? Straight rocket fuel. I keep coming back for that high and the daily drink deals that make it too easy to say yes. Drinks come out fast, staff is chill, and the whole place has a vibe that feels welcoming without trying too hard.

The second floor is perfect for locking in when I need to study — it’s like they designed it with focus in mind. And every now and then, you’ll overhear the wildest, most random conversations that lowkey make studying here even better. It’s productive chaos in the best way 😂

This is a great place to get out of the house or office and get some work done on your computer. The upstairs caters a little bit more to the working crowd and the downstairs for for those wanting to socialize. The kava is good here even though it’s not really my thing, I tried it for research purposes! They also have great coffee. Ambiance is very good, service is great, coffee is good too! Not much in the way of food but definitely worth stopping by if you’re down by central.

I mean it’s just that they charge for flavors but it definitely doesn’t taste like there was any….. and it’s a weak brew (pro kratom monster here) imo, but their peeps have been nice and the atmosphere seems legit.
