I went to the DTSP location. A young man waited on me and was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products and how to help me best lol I have so many allergies and it was my first visit! I ended up leaving with 3 different pastries to share with my girlfriend and each one was amazing! She’s not gluten free but lactose free. She was very surprised how good the cookie was! I actually tried the donut first as I hadn’t had one for 10 years! AMAZING! Thank you for allowing me and people like me with crazy allergies to enjoy desserts and treats like everyone else ?♥️?

I had high expectations for this place because of the reviews. I have been gluten-free and vegan for quite a while and it’s hard to find a place that has good desserts that are close to the “real thing.” The donuts were not very good at all. The cupcakes were ok. I think the frosting is what made them good. Not sure I’d venture back.

i have literally never had less than an incredible experience here. all the workers are SO sweet and are really helpful in giving great suggestions for sweets. it’s really hard to find good options for allergy-friendly sweets, but they have so many great options and everything tastes delicious. honestly this place has made my day better on multiple occasions. CANT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!!! :)
I have no reason to go here except for my own personal tastes. I prefer the consistency of gf baked goods and don’t think the “conventional” way is the only way to bake delicious treats. I do love getting items like this for my family, and if they are good, my family will have no idea it’s anything but normal. Sooo…gingerbread donut and apple crisp donut. Fabulous! Soft, flavorful, satisfying. Husband loved his and had no idea until I told him.The employee here, too, was very engaging and helpful. This location opens a bit later (10 or 11 depending on day), but must cater a bit differently in this location.Would return for sure, and try more. Yum!!

i recently just changed to a gluten-free diet due to a hormonal imbalance! i always love their doughnuts, especially the strawberry cheesecake is..godly! i've also tried their new brunch menu and it's absolutely amazing, my favorite stop before i go into my evening shift in downtown!

It'll be worth it for sure - the friendliness (from Ren in the pic), the deliciousness, and the ability to get last minute Thanksgiving gluten free dinner rolls for my woman makes this a GREAT place to return to. HaleLife is a staple for me when I am in St Petes, I just love it! When you're vegan, being able to enjoy perfect versions of food you don't often get to eat, like donuts, is Heaven! They also have an excellent little "breakfast" and sandwich menu... and waffles now too, I died! The attendant Julian was so nice and helpful, great vibes all around at HaleLife.

Not gluten free, but my friend is, so we made a trip up to try it. Tbh, the raspberry cupcake is one of the best cupcakes I’ve had in a while, gf or not. Super friendly helpful server, everything was delicious. Will definitely come back when we’re in the area!
HaleLife Bakery is the absolute best when it comes to finding delicious sweets without allergens. Their cookies and doughnuts are unique and taste incredible!! I love their autumn seasonal flavors. The blueberry lemon doughnut, cosmic brownie doughnut, oatmeal cream pie, pumpkin cream pie, and pumpkin ice cream Sammie’s are a MUST try!!!

Great concept, but rude customer service. My uncle was visiting town and excited to try Halelife Bakery. He's been talking about it all week. He bought some plain chocolates from kilwins in a sealed box in a paper bag that he planned on putting in his suitcase. The woman was really snippy and told us we couldn't have the box of chocolates in the store because of cross contamination. We told her about the sealed box and she still gave us a hard time. I could understand if he was eating anything but he wasnt. We were customers buying stuff togo. No reccomndedations, just an unhappy employee. We felt awkward the entire time. The desserts themselves were just okay. I've had their stuff before at their other location and my friends Bachelorette party, and honestly I wasn't impressed this time. With desserts costing $6 a piece we'd hope for better food & service.

The owner is super kind and gave us a great beach recommendation (we were visiting). As someone with tons of allergies, this place was so fun to try!! Their cupcakes are moist and good but the star of the show were their breakfast sandwiches omg. Me and my cousins got a different kind per person and tried them all, they were delicious!! Especially the artichoke one, and I’ve never had artichoke before! This small business is definitely worth your time. The vibe, food and service were amazing!
