The Mac n cheese was too wet like it wasn't cooked long enough. The turkey wings were tough. The rice I gave to my dog. The oxtails were "ok". Not good enough for me to go out of my way to St. Pete for again. The meatloaf was dry. It's a hard "I'll pass" returning there again. I'm good!

It’s a small counter service place with some indoor seating, so it’s not fancy, but MAN. I had the friend shrimp with baked beans and Mac and cheese, and it was freaking DELICIOUS. It was busy but fast and my shrimp was freshly fried— not the heavy batter either, the good crispy bits, you know? Baked beans are sweet and tangy and the Mac and cheese was great too, clearly homemade. I’m sad I didn’t get more.Menu included oxtail, meatloaf l, fried fish, chicken, pork chops….Collard greens, mashed potatoes, green beans. Super yummy if you want homestyle eats.
Heavy’s catered my boyfriend’s birthday dinner and it was amazing! We had so much food and it was all delicious! Everyone said it was the best fried chicken and corn bread they’ve ever had in their life. We were super happy and plan to order from Heavy’s for future events! Thank you Heavy’s!!
