Exceptional small plates and atmosphere. Staff is extremely attentive and knowledgeable.
Incredibly small so be sure to make a rsvp before going. We were unable to get a table or seat at the bar at about 9 PM on a Saturday night walking in.
Drinks were great, food was delicious. Lovely spot to hangout and listen to good music.

Been here a few times now and it’s SO good every time. Every single level of each dish is thoughtful, full of flavor, and a mix of textures.
Sincerely a delight to eat at, the staff is knowledgeable and welcome, and this is a lovely example of small plates done right.
Standout dishes are the pork belly, gyoza, and the crudo. But I don’t think you could go wrong with anything.
Vibe is super cute too.

Fantastically creative and delicious food in a quaint but super hip spot. One of our most favorite restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. The small plate menu changes often based on seasonal ingredients. This Japanese listening bar has the most expansive saki selection around but also manages to come up with amazing craft saki based cocktails. Definitely recommend!

Absolute beat restaurant in the Burg. Owner and staff genuinely care about the quality of food and experience you have here. Redefines what the grand central district has to offer in the food scene. Forget beach drive and have a better night out at the In Between Days!!

I'm gonna leave an honest review of what the average person's experience likely will be: The vibe here is unmatched, and the cocktails are delicious, but unfortunately it's not a practical spot for a date night or even a casual hang out. I've been here many times since it opened and I want to keep coming because the atmosphere is so nice, but the food is extremely expensive. I know costs everywhere are highly inflated, but this is probably the most expensive place I can think of for how little they offer. They do advertise that they are more of a tapas/small plate place, but four tiny gyoza should not be $25+. Even if I just wanted to come for a drink, I can't because it's a tiny house with limited seating and you can only make reservations if you plan to order food. If you are looking for a special occasion spot and don't have a budget, In Between Days could be that place, but you'll leave still hungry.
Bottom line: If you want to spend this much, go somewhere where you'll actually get a full meal, or come just for drinks the second they open so you can get a spot.
Great for somewhat of a special evening out. This is not a place where you will eat your fill or get more than a couple drinks for less than $80-100 per person. However, you can still certainly have some light bites and a drink or two without breaking the bank. The 70s atmosphere of the bungalow house, the oil lamps, all of it is very well done from an ambience standpoint.
The staff is very knowledgeable about the different sakes and their unique tasting notes. Food is good. The cucumbers are fantastic. The braised short rib gyoza are okay, but nothing special. It tastes like every other braised short rib you've ever had. Get the pork belly instead. It's not too thick or fatty. Our friends ordered it and it was absolutely amazing.

Truly great service and atmosphere!
I recently visit this restaurant for my birthday, the atmosphere was great my friends and I order one round of drinks waiting on my server to take my order. When the server came I did have a question about the menu because i don’t eat sushi
Or any raw food the server refused to answer my question and told her I don’t eat sushi, she told mi to order the pork belly because it’s cooked she didn’t even stop to explain, remember it’s my birthday I was expecting a friendly environment with a great service but it didn’t went well, just to make it clear I told her before I sit that I am Jamaica. These staff member is very raciest. It was my first time and I was so excited about the experience the server passed me over 4times i watched her being friendly with the other guest and when she came by my table her face expression saying I’m not welcome here. All because I ask about the menu they kick us out and told us not to come back, she’s with a guy that’s pretending to be a general manager. He didn’t even stop to try and solve the problem . They almost ruined my birthday because when I call 95 percent of these restaurant in st Pete are closed or about to closed, I ofto stop by a bar and get a snack and then went home . THANK YOU GUYS FOR BEING RACIEST. THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT BLACK PEOPLE FRIENDLY.

I was not disrespectful. In fact, the waitress for some reason avoided our table while visiting the other 3 tables multiples times even while noticing our drinks were empty. I attempted to discuss with the young man bartending, that stated he was the manager, and even when I ask what we did and he stated it was our “vibe”. In any event we never said anything to the young lady until I went to the bar and attempted to order drinks after it was obvious she was not going to stop at at our table. In the end, I attempted to request the young man be our server and and that’s when were told about our “vibe” making the the waitress “uncomfortable” even though we had said nothing negative or harsh to either of them. Once advised of our “vibe” and assuming that is a white man with two Jamaican ladies I asked for our tab to be closed and we were then told he would love to do that and that we were not welcome. Please review the cameras if you have any. The young male (manager) and waitress were both extremely defensive and rude to us and the two Jamaican ladies with me felt it was due to their race. As there was absolutely no other reason. We did ask about “cooked” options as we explained that my Jamaican friends didn’t like uncooked food. Retrospectively, maybe they were upset that we didn’t just sit and take the “punishment” that was intended to us for not just sitting there and watching them intentionally serve other tables while even laughing and joking with those tables while avoiding ours multiple passes. I was actually very proud of the fact that no one at our table raised our voice or said an unkind word. We did attempt to find resolution with the only other person server people only to be derided and chastised not for what we had said or done, but told our “kind” and our “vibe” were not welcome!
That said, if you’re truly the owner and would like to discuss with me feel free to contact me directly rather than just take the lies that were attempted to our face and obviously have been relayed to you by the young man and woman on duty that night.
