Intermezzo is hands down the best coffee shop in downtown St. Pete in my humble opinion! I’m not a big coffee gal, matcha is my typical go to and they always get it right. Their strawberry matcha has easily become a staple in my rotation and every time they add a new seasonal flavor I become instantly addicted and find myself going multiple times a week to get it. In the winter time they had a horchata matcha which I am counting down the days until it’s back on the menu and my current summertime addiction is making their banana cold brew in matcha form, 10/10 perfection! They host tons of events and mezzo market when the weather gets cooler. The atmosphere and staff are are always top notch. It’s the best spot to grab coffee and work or a drink with friends when they turn into a bar in the evenings. During the holiday season they deck the whole place out in holiday decor and it feels so cozy with the big Christmas tree! Clearly I love this place and always recommend it to friends visiting from out of town!🍌🍵🍓

Every bite of the Croissants at Intermezzo was an experience I won't soon forget! We took them home to eat and omg. So light and fluffy on the inside, and there had to be a hundred crispy, flaky layers of pastry on both the chocolate and butter croissant. If you like croissants, you have to try these. Every croissant I've ever had before these were mediocre at best.

Lovely atmosphere the staff really nice and owner.... They have a upbeat guitarist second Thursday of the month... They have a Spanish guitarist on Sunday 10 to 2pm but not sure of the time going to check today Sunday.

I have never had a bad order at this coffee shop. The baristas know how to make a consistently tasty coffee that's not too sweet and still has a strong coffee flavor. The lattes don't taste like I'm drinking coffee flavored milk. The coffee is still in the spotlight. I've never been disappointed with Intermezzo which is why I keep coming back and hopefully you do too!

This is such a cute little spot to grab a coffee and/or drink. Last time I was in, I chose to grab a coffee and do some writing. Cliche, I know. But the atmosphere is tasteful and really is perfect for it. The staff is also super friendly. I definitely recommend you support local and check this place out.

What they lack in customer engagement, they make up for with their exceptional service and award winning atmosphere. It’s a trendy shop that you just want to spend time in. I could work on my laptop for hours here.

I came to Intermezzo on two seperate occasions ordering a simple cappuccino, no modifications. The seperate individuals taking my order were borderline rude on both visits. While I think this would deter most, their coffee, bakery items, and cocktails are all top tier. I’ll take the bad attitude any day if it means I’m getting a quality espresso.

love this place but the WiFi shuts off at 4pm and if you are on hotspot they will ask you to shut your laptop which is genuinely the entire point

By far our favorite bar in St Pete. The best espresso martini and French 75 we’ve ever had. After moving 2 years ago, we came back and it’s just as good as ever! Highly recommend stopping in for a cocktail here
