Jinju Korean Grill and Sushi

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered kimchi soup and had exactly 0 pieces of kimchi in it. The broth was oily and gross and had absolutely no resemblance of kimchi broth or the Korean cuisine whatsoever.

Omg this beef bulgogi is amazing, I would eat it every day. Their sushi is fresh and delicious with a nice rice ratio. I got takeout and will definitely order again! There is not a ton of great sushi in St Pete near downtown so this is going on my list of repeats! Looking forward to trying more items from the menu!

Mediocre Sushi.. at best
The temperature was off which effects taste & texture. We ordered two simple rolls and they were meh... long grain rice, no distinct flavor, not sticky. It really left us disappointed.

Bibimpap was ok but not great. Again long grain rice but large portions made up for some of the short comings.

Price was as expected. I wouldn't go out of my way for this place.

I ordered take out and got the kimchi tofu beef soup with a spicy tuna roll. The roll was surprisingly good and actually kinda spicy. The soup was not great though. The soup and kimchi banchan does not taste traditional. The soup tasted bland and tasted nothing like kimchi. The kimchi banchan had a strong horseradish taste which I didn’t hate but also was not expecting it to taste like that. My guess is this place is not owned by Koreans. The prices are decent though.

We tried this place for the first time recently and it exceeded all expectations. There were plenty of options for food and everything tasted great. It seems like the owner really takes pride in quality- she even makes all of the sauces in house. The highlight of our experience was the service though. Our server, Chelsea, went above and beyond to make it a great night!

Love this place. Food is excellent and fun to cook on the little heating element whatever it's called.
And They give you a lot of food.

Go see Hei and Chelsea at this unique gem that blends Korean and sushi exuisitely. I didn't get to try the traditional Korean recipes but the sushi/Korean fusion experience is a must if you're in the St Pete area. Thanks to the friendly and professional staff for making me feel at home and providing top notch service and recommendations.

The sushi was delicious. Had the Caitlin roll and Philadelphia roll. The krab Rangoon and spring wrap did not disappoint. Grabbed a spicy chicken dinner to go for my bf and he loved it. Our server was friendly and the restaurant and bathrooms were clean.
