Loved the beach on a perfect day. But snack bar seemed deserted. It was midweek, so maybe not open even though all the signs said it was.

Worst restrooms in the state The new owners refused to wash bathrooms, refill soap, containers, and put in toilet paper. I seen families down there bringing their own toilet paper into all the snack stands the park. Rangers say that the people that run the concessions have the restrooms to service and the park restrooms are serviced by rangers But everybody in that place seems confused

Went for the ice cream. They scooped Hershey brand, a favorite. Server was very friendly. Rustic concrete seating.

The staff was super friendly which was greatly appreciated on a hot day. The prices aren’t as high as you’d expect for this type of place right by the beach. They have most essentials if you forgot SJ screen or something.

Went for mothers day. Food was good. Steve was the cashier n the most rude person I've met. Seems to not like working with the public. If English is not your first language he gets even more rude huffing n puffing. Then doesn't want to take cards as payments because it takes to long. Stop at subway before you get there so you don't have to put up with his angry attitude
