Who want's a 5-star dive bar when you can find this gem of a 1-star dive bar of epic proportions. There's too much fun, camaraderie, & neighborhood banter with good sprinkle of healthy drama after too many drinks to earn more than 1-star. The jukebox never quits unless, the Rays are on TV, or some other random thing that the locals deem more important, or karaoke, or just a random breakout session of people singing from the heart; so annoying. I wanted to love this place. It has all the bones of a good dive bar; nice people, cheap drinks and food but the indoor smoking is gross. I wanted to stay and have a bite to eat but couldn't stomach food with the cigarette smoke.
This being my first time here I was surprised at the seeming lack of parking. There is an outdoor seating area in front and I walked into what would be called a dive bar. The patrons were friendly and the bartender was cheerful, friendly and on point with the service. The food was very good considering the price point ($6.00 cheeseburger) The only negative was the cigarette smoke but it was expected.
