View was great, environment was as amazing, and food was delicious. Service from Aaron specifically was 5 star, he took such great care of us! I would highly recommend.

PRICE GOUGING. A year or two ago, this place would’ve been gold. Now they’re greedy. It was WAY too overpriced and the wait was WAY too long for two small cups of flavored coffee and a dunkin donuts styled croissant sandwich. ‘My total was $35, we waited for an hour plus, they charged me $0.50 EXTRA for light ice and didn’t even fill the coffee all the way up. Honestly, the food was mediocre and coffee can be found elsewhere. It’s a little shack, servers optional. The only thing amazing was the view. Insta worthy.

$17 for a Cuban sandwich is wild work.

It seemed to be a social media trap. They need to figure out how to accommodate their newly found social media fame because it was ridiculous… it wasn’t giving brunch. Go to The Blend, even Starbucks is cheaper. They cannot keep up with the amount of people and have made the PRICES RIDICULOUS. A $9.50 coffee is pure greed. Charging someone for light ice is crazy… just measure the portions like everyone else.

Way overpriced…..they even raised the prices more from their already overpriced prices from the menu I saw posted on someone’s review that was only 2 weeks ago…

Patrona Coastal Cafe is slightly better than its sister operation “The Getaway”, but still suffers from similar problems. See “The Getaway” reviews for more context.

The cafe is clean, has good views, and the service is pleasant. However, the prices are very steep for basic food and coffee. I understand the challenges with inflation, but the latest price hike only made the already high prices even higher.

Some examples (comparing Dec ‘24 -> Jan ‘25):
-Iced coffee: 3.5 -> 5 (40% increase)
-Brown sugar shaken espresso: 7 -> 9 (30% increase)
-Grilled cheese: 13 -> 16 (20% increase)

I understand the dollar difference may seem immaterial, but at this rate, regular customers will start looking elsewhere — especially when comparable cafes offer similar quality at lower prices.

We are so glad we visited this cafe, I saw it on Instagram and had to come by when we were in town. They have made such good use of the outdoor space and there is plenty of shade. The food was delicious although we were a bit confused about the menu. After speaking with the staff, we ordered croissants and scrambled eggs on the side and made our own sandwich. It was delicious. We also had chips and onion dip, then ordered two more plates of chips because it was so good! The presentation of the food was lovely and unexpected. I felt like the food was a bit overpriced but not unusual for fancy cafes. The staff at the cash were a bit disinterested and could have been more friendly. The staff preparing the food were very nice. Service was also quick. We sat right by the water and it was so peaceful. It’s a great place to bring a book or have coffee with a friend. Would love to return as soon as we can!

The vibes at this place are 10/10 by being on the water. Sometimes the line can be long so be prepared to wait but the drinks are always good.

I have no idea why they didn’t start turning people away, but we waited 50 minutes just to get a table—only to sit there for two more hours without receiving a single appetizer or entrée. We finally gave up and left. The server was apologetic and did their best, but the management here is a complete disaster. Whoever is running this place should be fired immediately for such an appallingly disorganized operation. This was an absolute joke.

The BEST matcha latte I’ve had in Florida! As soon as it came out and I saw the rich green color I could tell they put care into their drinks. Some may think it’s overpriced but with our food came sides like fruit, hashbrowns, and fresh chips so I think it’s incredibly worth it. The scenery is also beautiful and calming.

honestly, the most overpriced coffee I’ve ever had in my entire life. The line was 1000 miles long and then it took forever to get the coffee. The coffee was also messy and the cup was covered in red dye and stained my hands. Will not be returning, such a waste of time.
