Was sitting with a friend I hadn’t seen in ages and we had to leave for having outside drinks. Now I completely understand if there’s a law we have to follow that, that was not the issue at all.
Some lady came up to us and said something along the lines of “ Hey ladies, you can’t have outside drinks here. It’s very illegal to have that here.” In a very passive aggressive way. I said something and she had just turned around in the middle of me talking and left. Her face also showed the attitude, talking to us as if we were children. The way you communicate things matters.

A very nice place with spectacular views. The restaurant left a lot to be desired, they served me very well but they told me, to place your order we need your credit card, uncomfortably I accepted, they took the card and after a while they told me everything was ok, they returned the card to me and informed me that the bill It will include a 20% mandatory tip. A very expensive place, which is abused because of where it is. I will return to this beautiful city but not to that restaurant again.

Unfortunately, Great Ambiance, but Awful Awful Service/Mgmt 😳 Could and should have certainly been a wonderful evening, being the location, but so far from it. 1)We waited so long to be served in center lounge area that my friend went to order for us at the bar, in doing so the wrong drink was order for me. A white guy with a hoodie, who was serving at the bar seemed so bitterly upset to assist me even before I got before him to explain this. (I’d hate to think it’s because we don’t have the same skin color) He told me it wasn’t his fault and that he was “gonna have to charge me” I questioned this and after going back and forth, then bringing it to the attention of another worker, he said he’ll just put it as “spillage “ just an $11 glass of wine btw 2)The bathroom smelled and looked worst than one in a nyc bus terminal. My stall had no tissue, paper towel system to dry hands were completely out/blinking and worst of all, the female waste box was overflowing with sanitary female products 🫣 There was no pride taken in the appearance of the restroom at all. 3)The cushions in center lounge area looked filthy and undesirable to sit on. It could be because they were rained on prior to. (Come up with a system) Great view and that’s all folks!! We left after the one set of drinks and drove to the Beacon rooftop in Tampa where we received quality service in a well managed and maintained upscale environment. SERVICE IS KEY TO AN OVERALL GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS, WORK HARD ON THAT, EVEN THE TOURIST WILL APPRECIATE IT AND HAVE MORE TO COMPLIMENT OTHER THAN THE VIEW. I would not recommend any colleagues/friends. Good luck on making New changes for the New Year!

Love pier Teaki the vibe a blast. Sam was great and made sure we were seated comfortably, she wiped the table clean upon arrival and gave us her personal opinion when it came to ordering which made it easier to order quickly. She was awesome! Would definitely come back!

We were glad to find a spot at the bar for drinks and appetizer. Visiting day after Christmas Pier Teaki was very busy. It fifers free views of downtown St. Petersburg. Funny the bar is high and we laughed that while chairs were not tall enough for bar. We ending up just standing. The seafood spread was good. It only came with 3 crackers. We asked for extra crackers but there was an extra charge. Note: There is an automatic service charge of 20% which we were not told initially. Yes, we should expect in a tourist area. However, personally when I am out for a relaxing day, I don’t want to be constantly told how a business is run. Hearing the bartenders repeatedly say there is 20% service charge, tips on credit cards go the staff, and cash tips go to the specific staff. To me that is tacky and not professional for a business. More information than I need for a drink in a scenic setting.

Great atmosphere with a good DJ, we spent a nice time outdoors looking at the sea while having a nice cocktail! You can choose where to sit. You can also check out the cabin option which offers more privacy.

I will say. I was delighted with the atmosphere. The evening was a little bit chilly needless to say there was a singer and her music was just what we needed to stay warm I left with a very Happy Feeling on a great desire to come back another day.
