Our evening at Renzo's in St. Pete was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped through the door, the service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and perfectly paced, making us feel like royalty. The six-course dinner was a culinary masterpiece, each dish a symphony of flavors that pushed the boundaries of taste and presentation. The wine pairings were spot-on, enhancing every bite with expertly chosen varietals that elevated the experience to new heights. Every detail, from the ambiance to the flawless execution, made this a night to remember. Renzo's is a must-visit gem for anyone craving an unforgettable dining adventure!

Great food and great service on a Saturday afternoon. Good empanadas, steak, salad, French fries, and yucca fries. Wine too.

They didn't bring menus over until after we had been seated at least ten minutes. The first round of drinks took 15 minutes to get to the table. We used to love Renzo's. The food was much better. They changed the menu and everything had this soggy taste and smoky flavor. It was not good. We ordered the Parilla as we normally do, but apparently the price is $70 per person instead of $70 as it used to be. The food was mediocre and not what we expected. We could have had a 5-star steak for $70 per person and not some overcooked meat on a skillet. The second round of drinks took almost 20 minutes and we were already ready to leave. I don't think we will be going back.

Open room created a great atmosphere. Food was incredible and one of a kind. Definitely something to experience and will make you want to return.

What a terrible place! I have never written a bad review, as i was thought as a kid: ‘ if i have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all’!
But i will write this in hopes the owner or manager reads this so they can pay attention and make necessary corrections.
1. No Service
2. Hostess was lacking organizational skills or simple logic and awareness
3. Chef was loud and inappropriate yelling at another kitchen staff.
I left!
No wonder the place is empty most of the time.

Our experience at Renzo’s in St. Pete was disappointing. Despite the restaurant having only two tables occupied, the hostess was more focused on taking phone orders than seating guests. After we arrived, the floor server took our menus and handed them to a couple who walked in behind us. Just as we were finally about to be seated, the phone rang again, and the hostess abandoned us in the middle of the floor to take another call. The lack of organization and attention to in-person guests was frustrating. We will not be returning.

Our first visit was amazing, which is why we decided to return. Unfortunately, our second experience was disappointing. The meat did not taste fresh, was tough, and seemed to have been reheated. It was not the quality we expected, especially from an Argentine restaurant known for its BBQ. Sadly, our group of four left unsatisfied. We truly hope the restaurant can maintain the high standards that made our first visit so great, but based on this experience, we won’t be returning.

I very rarely rate a negative. It is obvious there is not a manager onsite who is obsessed with quality of service.

We showed up, to the minute for our 8:30 reservation. We were seated immediately and waited 20mins before our waiter came for a drink order. And only asking twice before for service.

Once we actually got service, the lady was pleasant enough and staff in general were ok. I think they were empathetic to us waiting.

At 10pm, on the dot on a Sat, staff started to vacuum and clear tables. I get it, the restaurant is not taking new seatings, but have some respect for those sitting. This is a management problem. Like really?

The food was OK. We found it salty but that is a matter of preference .

Given the 4.2 and a 1000 reviews in St Pete, which I find has high standards, it was not what I expected.

The location and menu has real potential and I hope they can get the right polish.

I recently visited Renzo's Restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. I had a reservation for three at 7:30 pm on February 2nd, 2025. Shortly after we settled at our table, my baby began to cry, as babies sometimes do. Within a minute, we were approached by the owner himself and asked if we would like to sit outside because it he wanted to accommodate every guest. We were guests ourselves. seemed the restaurant prioritized the comfort of other guests over ours.

I was shocked by this suggestion and felt as though my family and I were not valued as guests. This is the only restaurant where my baby's natural behavior has been treated as a problem, leaving us feeling unwelcome and singled out.

I understand the importance of maintaining a pleasant dining atmosphere, but there are more considerate ways to handle such situations. Unfortunately, Renzo's failed to provide a family-friendly environment, and I cannot recommend it to others who may be dining with young children.

We drove an hour to get there, and when we arrived they didn't have what the menu said, and the waitress served us with a horrible attitude. We decided to go somewhere else.

The tall Dark hair server was rude and refused to show me where the restroom was located. I’m not sure if it was discriminatory or not but a refusal to let me use the restroom while there is unacceptable, I have kidney disease Stage 3. I will not eat here again or do any Uber deliveries for Renzo’s ether. I’ve been to nicer places with much better hospitality!

Undercooked salmon and some flavorless apps. Corn side dish with almost no corn. Cocktail and steak were good. Staff was hustling, but there just wasn't enough of them. Overall a mediocre experience.

The worst steak we have had. Both ordered a medium rare KC Strip aged. They both arrived in a few minutes which was alarming. They were hard on the outside, rare in the middle and chewy. We had a couple Of bites and left. Paid the bill in full As the server was lovely and I couldn't be bothered to discuss. We left mid-meal and went to another restaurant.
