If you think you know where there’s good food, you don’t know until you go here it is phenomenon. It’s a legit hidden gem. The service is top-notch family owned. Nothing more to say besides the best.

Came here for a friends birthday. This place could benefit from a bar rescue or something. The idea is there. The employees are kind but the food was not up to par. The drinks were strong, which we enjoyed. For the price, we would’ve appreciated more

Fantastic! Cozy place to have an intimate dinner with a great vibe, but also very comfortable for our party of 13! The service was fantastic and the food delicious!! The brothers (owners) were nice and even chatted with us for a bit. This is a hidden gem in St. Pete! Don't sleep on it! And can we talk about the play list!! We were singing and dancing by the end of the night!

Always clean, graceful and great customer service. They have the best wings, lamb chops, and Oyster. I absolutely love this place and the staff

We ate here a week ago and were absolutely impressed with the quality and flavor of the food. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The baked potato had a nice crisp skin. The short rib with smoked Gouda polenta was amazing. Everything thing had so much flavor. We were so impressed we brought a party of 14 back yesterday and everyone was impressed. The crust and seasoning on the steaks is amazing. Those who had the sea bass were impressed as well. Christian and Joshua have a great thing going. Keep it up. Roam is definitely one of the best restaurants in St Pete!!!

According to goggles reviews, it's a perfect restaurant, but the decoration wasn't good, we have to wait for the service, I couldn't enjoy the meat was burned. For me it's a really expensive place for the visit

Horrible experience tonight. I made a reservation weeks ago and after entering the establishment the host came over to us and asked if we had reservations. I said, “yes” and attempted to explain that I called earlier in the day to confirm the reservation. The host was in such a rush that I was unable to share that detail. The host went to a computer and appeared confused. After about 3 minutes he returned and stated we could sit at the bar and if someone didn’t show up then we would be seated at a table. I reminded him that we had reservations and shouldn’t have to sit at the bar. The host was indignant and stated that I said I did not have a reservation. There was no attempt to rectify the situation which was upsetting. We left the establishment and have no plans of returning.

It was a very good experience for our party of 8. Unlike previous reviewers we didn’t have to wait overly long for the food. It was a Saturday evening and so it’s understandable that they were super busy—a good sign! So we do understand that our server couldn’t check on us after the food was delivered. The food itself was delicious. My pasta was tasty and my friends’ steaks were on point but the cheesecake blew me away. Keep in mind there’s live music on Sat evenings seemingly so I don’t think you will get a quiet romantic evening with your sweetheart here. Try a weekday!

We first went to ROAM last year as I wanted to surprise my wife for her birthday by taking her to a new highly rated steakhouse. My on-line search led me to ROAM. Pulling up front, one was not so sure what to expect as the restaurant is in front of an old motel. We went inside where we were welcomed and treated like family. The food is delicous with some unique offerings for this area including several types of charbroiled oysters, best crabcakes ever, delicous lamb chops, and of course wonderful to die for steaks. This is a family run hands on dining experience operated by 2 brothers and 1 sister who exceed all expectations for fine dining and delicous libations, while making you feel like family! We've been back many times deligted to introduce our family and friends to ROAM! ENJOY!

Parking: Parking can be difficult. You can park at the motel or across the street when crowded.

Food was mediocre we had ribeye steaks. They were too salty and a lot of gristle/fat. Please be aware they charge 18% gratuity ( for any part of one or more!??) $5 card fee & 7% sales tax.. Overpriced, best part was the live music-guitarist.

I've been looking for a good steak spot, and I think I found it. This is a surprisingly classy and comfortable spot not too close to downtown. I had the Filet with caramelized onions and sautéed mushrooms. This place doesn't play with their steaks. They had the toppings on the side to showcase that they could perfectly cook a filet and season it to perfection. Chevon and Christian were excellent hosts, which only added to the welcoming atmosphere. This is a must stop location for anyone looking for top-class cuisine and a relaxing drink with a decent list of wines and drinks.

Location is not the best and parking shared with a motel, also the inside deco is simple. If you can overlook these, then this could be a great steak house for you. The tomahawk steak and lamb chops cooked in perfection.
