we really enjoy this place, have never been disappointed. great spot, never crowded, awesome shrimp tacos, salads, chicken burritos and nachos:)

Fantastic! I was staying in Treasure Island for a few days for a wedding and ordered the grouper fish tacos with the side salad for a quiet night in through Grubhub. The food came lightning fast, was very reasonably priced, and OH MY GOSH was it delicious! The grouper fish tacos are easily the best in the area. The fish was perfectly grilled on top of a delicious guacamole, slaw, and topped with sweet, fresh mango salsa and a white cream sauce drizzle. The salad was an arugula mix with a has-to-be homemade lemon vinaigrette dressing. I would love to visit the restaurant and eat-in next time I am in the area!

I've had the fourth street location but never the Tyrone location. It was really tasty! I got the roasted veggie salad which was delicious and my friend got the citrus quinoa bowl. The dressing for the citrus bowl was amazing! So tasty. The portion size was huge and the service was very friendly and accommodating. After two they have 3.50 sangria!

Stopped by for taco Tuesday. It was actually excellent. Had the fish taco especial. Great selection of hot sauces too. I’d rate a five.... but the taco special started at 230 and we were there about two. If front of the cashier we were talking about the special and order individual tacos. I paid not thinking, then was surprised once we looked at the receipt. Ok, bad on me for not looking at the print, but drop a star for the order taker just standing there hearing all we were sayin. Likely we won’t be back. But for you, it’s rather delicious and won’t say don’t go.

We stumbled upon this place while shopping in the Tyrone Mall. We had never heard of it, but the menu looked delicious. It reminds me of a nicer Chipotle. The food was absolutely delicious!! I got the California bowl and added chicken. It is a large portion so I took half of it home. The chicken had a delicious flavor! The sauce buffet is great too. There are 4-6 for different sauces, along with limes, lemons, and an onion/Cilantro mix. Try them all! My mom got the two taco tasting plate with two gourmet Shrimp tacos. It also comes with a side of pinto beans & chips. We also got a side of guac. I'm a guac connoisseur & their guac is delicious!! The chips are great as well & are already salted. They have reasonable prices & also had a yelp coupon on the day we went! 5/5 stars!

I like the fresh tasting food at Rubio's. Had the langoustine corn tacos, which were delicious. I enjoy trying the seasonal specials like this.

We visited Rubio's today & were very happy, thanks to Jessie & Tut! They went out of their way to accommodate my difficult garlic allergy by making me fresh guacamole without garlic puree that was superb!! They also made shrimp to order, garlic-free, & the burritos were so tasty & fresh. We will be back for sure! Thank you for your excellent customer service & fabulous food!!! You 2 get 10 stars!!

I ordered the California Bowl with shrimp, and it was fine. I liked the concept, but my taste buds weren't wowed by the flavor. I enjoyed a can of local beer. If I went back, I'd try something else. Solid 3.5 stars.

The food at Rubio's was decent, not great, but decent and the portions were small, bordering on tiny. The service was lacking. Although I was the only one ordering, the two people behind the counter seemed more interested in their conversation than in waiting on me and then preparing my order. The manager was over at the other occupied table talking to that couple. When he finally went back to the counter, the workers there then began to work. There was just an odd atmosphere about the place. The grilled shrimp tacos were pretty good. The "pinto beans" were REFRIED BEANS and a tiny portion at that. There was a smattering of chips included in the order. For $11, it really wasn't worth it. I was disappointed. Based upon the other reviews, I expected more.

We loved our bowls. Healthy fast food, the blackened Mahi Mahi in the bowls was delicious! Clean restraunt too! Ill be back.:)
I have been to this restaurant a few times and the food has been good each visit. If I had to categorize this place, it would be Mexican Seafood. I particularly like the Shrimp and Fish Taco's, but friends also like the various bowls. I will be back.

This place is terribly run. I don’t write a lot of reviews but when something is notable, good or bad, I’ll write a review. This is our second visit here thinking maybe it was just an off day the last time. Well, that wasn’t the case. I brought the sad excuse of a taco to the attention of the staff and instead of correcting the problem, she came up with every excuse why there was literally nothing on the taco except stuff I could have gotten off the condiment bar. No attempt to make it right at all. I’m sure we will see this place out of business soon.

I tried to talk the manager into bringing this restaurant to Gainesville, Fl! The food was outstanding... I had the shrimp salad with a spicy mango vinaigrette. Highly recommend it. The staff went above and beyond to wait on us and even thru in ‘extra’s’ free of charge. When we’re back in the area... we will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place.
