Food was average and service was awkward. For the price and quality, there are many other restaurants in St Pete I'd rather frequent.

One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. Amazing food, perfect atmosphere, great service (and Would not have known everything was gluten free had it not said so on the menu). Simply amazing.

Dietary restrictions: Entire menu is GF, and amazing.

As someone with several food allergies, it’s such a treat to go out and actually get to enjoy a restaurant to its fullest. Great cocktails and na beverage selections as well. Everything is automatically celiacs safe and they have a ton of dairy free/vegan options as well. The menu is very clear and our server was able to list every ingredient in my dish down to the oil used. We’ve visited here a few times now and it’s been a delight each time. I love having a safe place to eat that’s local and fresh, and the staff is always lovely!

You don't have to be GF to enjoy this spectacular farm to table menu. The ambiance, the service, the ingredients they choose....it's all top notch! The richest and most delicious lasagna. French onion soup was the best I've ever had. We also have dariy restrictions, and we could every have item on the menu. Absolutely will go back.

What a delightful surprise to spontaneously stop by this absolute gem of a bistro after a visit to Rad Power Bikes! Ron, one of the owners, was exceptionally kind. The place has good juju and funky decor, and the sweet potato bisque (that he made fresh today!) was an absolute dream. Perfection for a chilly fall bike-riding day. Sumptuous, perfectly-spiced, wonderfully rich in texture, almost pudding-esque, what I imagine would be served at a fall feast at Hogwarts! As a gluten-free person, I can rarely find decent bread, and I don't think I've had garlic bread in years - it was such a treat with the dairy-free cheese! Wonderful crumb, both crunchy and soft in texture. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would benefit from a warm-welcome, gorgeous healthy food, and a sensual atmosphere with mood lighting and all sorts of fun textures and textiles. 11 out of 10. I will tell everyone, and I will be back!

This is the best gluten-free/vegan restaurant in town. Every year, my husband surprises me with dinner reservations. The food is so good and the owner is amazing. She helps to make your dining experience so special. I love the intimate atmosphere as well. The custom turkey baked-ziti is my all time favorite. It is similar to the lasagna dish.

Sol, where have you been hiding all my life?
To say I am a foodie is like a saying tar is a bit sticky.
I haunt places I fall for like a brightly colored ghost with unresolved issues. I plan to haunt Sol for a long time to come.

The team is fantastic and attentive; the food is top notch; the ambience is perfect.

I highly reccomend!

First off, I had the best sleep all week after dining @ Sōl 🙏🏽😴😎
The intention & love behind each item that owners Debbie, Ron and staff meticulously create is unparalleled.
The source of their food, aka Nutrition, is from all local farms and businesses of St. Pete and the surrounding Tampa Bay Area, so I feel relieved knowing my family and I are supporting local. By the way, it’s Farm to table & EVERYTHING is Gluten-free, safe for Celiac.

Local food here doesn’t just mean supporting the livelihood of local business owners, which as a fellow small business owner is ESSENTIAL during these times. It’s also supporting life to our microbiome/microbiota.. you may have heard of “good bacteria.” There’s trillions of little “good bugs” (think probiotics) that play a major role in our immune system, how we think, sleep, fight & prevent dis-ease, inflammation & pain levels, our energy levels, even our moods! Our ~30 trillion cells are constantly interacting with these guys, craving mother nature’s gifts from the God given (whatever you believe) soil of our earth, aka Pachamama, creating an environment of balance…or chaos. It’s up to us! 🌱🥗

Quality nutrition is one of the KEY ways to unlock this well-spring of inner health, as food is a direct player in what our bodies are designed for- converting food to energy and keep thriving (not just living!) so we can grow and enjoy life on this planet🗝️💚

If you’re ready to experience a really restorative evening, not to mention phenomenal customer service & some of the tastiest cuisine that Florida has to offer, do yourself & your little “bacteria” a flavor (pun intended😄) & check out Sōl. I always leave in an even better mood🥰 so thankful!!

Dietary restrictions: Celiac safe Gluten-free! Sheep & Goats milk cheeses easier to digest for Lacoste sensitive individuals

Oh how my girlfriend and I adore this place! My girlfriend reserved a dinner for 2 for my birthday and the service and food exceeded our expectations. The rib eye and french onion soup are delectable. We were also pleasantly surprised by their options for NA beverages. On top of the great service and food, we love that there are only 8 tables that allows for a quiet and intimate atmosphere. Thank you for a fantastic experience! We will be back soon! - Ashley and Lisa

Sol bistro was a delightful little hidden gem in St. Pete. Having gone with my friend who is vegan, we were both impressed at vegan options and substitutions. They were very accommodating and asked if we wanted vegan substitutes when available. As a non vegan, I was thoroughly surprised with the garlic bread and mushroom parm-ish, both identical to their dairy laden counterparts. I opted to get the deluxe tasting menu for myself which was four courses. It could really be called five courses because the drink was an excellent course in it of itself! Debbie, our server who is also an owner, put extra ginger in my fermented vodka mule mule and it was perhaps the best, most satisfying mule I have ever drank! Each food course was delightful as well, brought out by the chef himself. Big fan of the sheep’s cheese on the salad. My grass fed and finished steak had plenty of sea salt and had a nice amount of butter drizzled on the plate which perfectly complemented the meal. The flourless, vegan chocolate cake and coconut whipped cream was a perfect ending, rich but not sweet. I loved the coconut cream and could have eaten about four more of the small scoops they gave with our serving- it was just that good- complemented by the fruit (dates and raspberries?) in the chocolate cake. The setting of the restaurant itself was delightful and very intimate, making it a perfect date night spot. Everything from pillows on chairs, to our golden flower shaped mini dessert spoons, to the owners being a very sweet married couple who work the restaurant themselves, amplified the experience. I would highly recommend Sol bistro to anyone, especially those with any dietary restrictions, as they will fully accommodate their guests!

Vegetarian options: Mushroom Parm-ish was on par with an eggplant parm as it had an extremely similar texture to me. There were many dairy free substitutions on the menu that accommodated different dishes and there was no lack of flavor or cheese pull from the vegan alternatives!
