Tonight is the second time we have stopped by Sesh for drinks and appetizers. Both time I have noticed how friendly and hospitable the bartenders are. You don’t find that anymore especially in St. Pete. Excellent service thanks guys!

Brewery with full liquor bar and bar food. Staff is quick and a good mix of professional, quirky, and bar-veteran. Customers are on the 35+ side. All in all a place I can recommend as a stop for a few beers with your crew. The 4th Street Pils is pleasant but not quite as crisp (stalled fermentation, water chemistry?) as I like my Pils and I was missing the noble hops. The hazy IPA is juicy and as a style very forgiving but again I found it a bit too malty. The patio is surrounded by palms and the music is loud enough to drone out 4th Street.(Music was not my favorite at all)

We come to Sesh every couple of weeks to have lunch or dinner, and every once in a while we bring out of town friends with us. Not only do they have a very unique atmosphere, we love the food (we go out in St. Pete a lot), but especially the staff at the bar amazing. They also brew their own beer, which is some of the best you will have in St. Pete. If I had some complaints, it would be that there is no way to take their amazing beer home, and that they’re not closer to the Grand Central area where we spend most of our time.

My friends, and I experienced Sesh for the first time and would go back. I liked the decor and the music. The food was great, and the service was as well. I gave the four star because of the noise level. They are trying to address it because they have acoustic panels in the back room, yet it is pretty loud and hard to have a conversation.

Checked in with the host, got table outside which turned out to be right on 4th Street and extremely noisy.Read the entire menu, ready to order, read the drinks menu too (out of borden). Tried to wave down one of the wait staff but they devoted all their attention to the dogs on the patio... waited another 10 minutes trying to place our order and then left as they didn't seem to be interested in our business. This was on a Sunday @ 1:30 p.m. after the brunch rush and the place was not busy at all!Never got to try the food but most descriptions of them sounded "weird" to me.I will never attempt this place again.

The smash burger could be smashed a little more so it fits the bun and they should ask if you want seasoned fries the cook is a little heavy handed on whatever seasoning they use.

My husband ordered the Smash Burger, and I ordered Pork Osso Buco. Our food came out extremely fast, and my food was lukewarm at best. Not sure how that can happen with Osso Buco. After waiting a few minutes for our server to return and check on our food (she was not the person who delivered our food to the table), my husband got up and flagged a server to tell them about my food. My food was taken away, and in a very short time, someone ... perhaps a manager, brought a complimentary salad to hold me over until my hot food arrived, which was appreciated. My food was tasty but did seem premade, and my husband enjoyed his burger; however, we probably will not return. This was our second time at Sesh, the first when they had been opened for a few months, and it was not a good culinary or service experience. We thought we would give Sesh another try, given that we can walk to this restaurant; however, the results were not what we hoped they would be. Our serve had no idea that I had sent my food back, and she was extremely apologetic, which was also appreciated. Additionally, the lighting is way too bright, and the noise level is quite high. Unfortunately, not a restaurant we will return to.

Went twice. Won’t go back. First time rice was crunchy. Second time rice was crunchy. It’s rice; you put it in a rice cooker and push the “rice” button. I dealt with it (ate it all) the first time and let them know. I returned the dish the second time and didn’t bother ordering anything else.Environment was good & clean. Staff was friendly & helpful (one guy was super loud and didn’t fit the vibe). Food was not cooked. Shrug.

Came in on a Friday night with my mom to try this place out. The atmosphere when we walked in was definitely superb and had a lot of care and attention put into it. The food? Ehhhhhhh not so much.We ordered the nachos to start off as an appetizer, and these were definitely the best thing we had ate. Good dispersement of toppings, and what they had on there tasted tasted great. I ordered the Jelly Donut Burger for my entree and my mom got the Steak Sandwich. My burger didn't particularly impress me, the donuts felt stale, the jelly was REALLY overpowering, the patty itself wasn't that great, and the cheese they used was lost in the shuffle. The bacon they put in didn't seem to have any effect, minus some crispness. The fries they came with had a barbeque seasoning on them, which sounds good in theory, but it just made them taste like barbeque potato chips, which I'd fine if you like them, but I think just Salt, Pepper, and garlic would've been enough for them. Tried my mom's steak sandwich, and she noted the bread to meat ratio was too high and the steak had a "funny" taste to it.She enjoyed the beer she ordered, and the drink I had off the high January menu gave me a good buzz when I got home. After tip, we walked away spending a little over $70 (so roughly $35 per person), and it wasn't worth it in my opinion. If you want to go to a bar and have some good food, I'd personally recommend going to Five Bucks Drinkery instead. You'll get ALOT more value out of $35/person there compared to here. While I'm thankful I had the opportunity to try it, I won't be coming back unless they completely revamp the food menu.
