Wow, what an amazing place. This Italian market has everything. Wish we hadn't flown in to Florida so we could have taken a full card load of goodies home. We had lunch and also bought some desserts. Food was really good. It was really, really crowded when we went. It was kind of hard to walk up and down the aisles to browse all they had because there were so many people. We were there at lunchtime so that is probably why they were so crowded. Highly recommend a visit if you're a foodie and like browsing specialty markets.

Great selection of cheese and wine, excellent bakery, decent pasta. Parking can be tricky, and the store is a zoo on weekends, but worth the hassle for the rainbow cookies.

Mazzaro's is the Disney World of Italian markets! Coming from up north where there's an Italian market on every corner, this outstanding marketplace makes me feel right at home. The bakery, deli, and meats departments are all exceptionable. A small army of dedicated employees works here, and they try their best however, if you show up on a Saturday be prepared to wait in line to get in there are red ropes outside. (Just like Disney world). Don't let that discourage you they literally have some of the world's best wines and cheeses and fresh mozzarella. Make sure and get a legalize marinara, T-shirt!

Mazzaro's sandwiches 5/5 stars. Mazzaro's crowd on a weekend 2/5 stars. Very busy with barely any walking space, but I guess that says everything that needs to be said. The fresh bread loaves, cheeses, and meats make a wonderful, home cooked Italian meal for a night in, too!

You might have to wait in line and have a hard time finding parking but this place is so worth it. I've had so many items from this market and have not been disappointed. Recently went to finally try deli items with my picky Italian friend. She said the chicken parm sandwich was the best sandwich she's ever had. I wish they had better hours though since it's usually hard for me to get there during the times they are open. But I understand they have hours that are best for them!

Wow. It's huge. Restaurant, deli, wine store, pasta store, meat market, seafood market, prepared foods, bakery...all under one roof. The selection of food items is unparalleled. Expect big crowds, potentially long wait times and spending well beyond what you came in for. We didn't stay to eat but it is all arranged in a comfortable way. Service was prompt and efficient and lines moved quickly. Numbers used at the market counters. We bought cold cuts, some Italian jarred specialties and some hard to find French sausage ( Rosette de Lyons), veal cutlets, and more. It's fortunate for us it's a 50 minute drive each way!

This place is amazing! Where to begin? Fresh ready to cook meals and PIZZA! So good. The meat market is awesome. The coffee bar rocks. I can't even explain this place, you just have to experience it!

We love going here even though it is always busy, even when you get there at open. The deli and bakery is awesome. We have enjoyed a variety of items from both areas along with their ready-to-go food lined near checkout. The cheese and wine room is also great to look at with some variety. A must place to go to!

Very chaotic on the inside but the staff mows through people (if the customers are paying attention.) We went for the subs. Got the #7 (Italian meats, mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes) and the #16 chicken Milanese. Very good. We sat at the coffee bar which was pleasant and the baristas took great care of us. My iced latte was nice and strong. My girl's frappe with an added shot was really something special. The pistachio cannoli was so so good. Maybe the best I've had. It had that good thick cream and was absolutely caked in pistachios. I think the coffee and the bakery honestly trumps the sandwiches. I was expecting the sandwiches to really floor me but they were just good sandwiches. I recommend going here if you are visiting St. Pete for a novel experience and to entertain guests.

First experience ever today. My friend and I each got the Daily Special pork cutlet sandwich and ate on the patio. We sat down and opened our sandwiches and my friend had a hair in the melted cheese. They quickly remade it for her and we enjoyed our crazy good sandwiches. After we finished the sandwiches she opened the tuna pasta salad she bought so we could try it and guess what....ANOTHER HAIR!!!! You can watch the video on the patio from 10:35 to 11 and see both hair situations! We said nothing about the second hair for fear of being accused of planting hairs! We did enjoy the food and overall experience and will be back but wont buy any premade food items until you implement hairnets! Two different hairs in two different items is a bit too much! My friend would have over looked the hair in her beautiful sandwich had it not been melted into the cheese.

This place is unbelievable. I am waiting to try something that isn't off the charts wonderful. Don't go there hungry as you will buy way too much. We will make the trip to here from 70 miles away just to load up here.
