I stumbled upon this cute little coffee shop w/ pastries hidden on Central &7th.
I ordered a small caramel macchiato and a veggie croissant sammie.
I should have ordered a large, as it is quite possibly the best macchiato I have tasted.
The Sammie was just as lovely -lightly toasted croissant with egg, tomato, melted Gouda, freshly sliced avocado, drizzled with balsamic.
Light and filling.
This hidden gem was a great find.

They discontinued the rainbow cookies, which broke my heart, but I decided to order the lemon bars, rainbow cookie cake, and this espresso cake slice they had, and I was so disappointed with everything! The lemon bars used to be amazinggg but the ones I recently purchased tasted very artificial, almost like thick lemon frosting from the store. We couldn’t even finish them. I’m wondering if maybe they have new management or something? I haven’t been in a while but they used to be THE BEST, worth any drive - but this last visit, everything was one disappoint after another. The cashier was really sweet though, and the place is still cute to sit and chill. Just hope they can go back to their original recipes!

First time in and I saw a sign where the pastries were that said NY bagels. So I confirmed with the worker that the bagel is from NY and I could get it as an option for my breakfast sandwich-no problem. I watched as the lady pulled the bagel out of a Thomas bagel bag…..NOT IMPRESSED WHATSOEVER!

Had the peanut butter chocolate cake cup … peanut butter (icing part only) was good but the cake was dry .. almost crunchy.

Had a snickerdoodle cookie… it was crunchy and not snickerdoodle taste.

Employee was busy chatting w someone else vs trying to wait on us.

First time visitor - def wont be back.

The hazelnut iced coffee was great. However, the staff was pretty unfriendly and unwelcoming. I came to try the lobster tail because I saw it in a review, and it looked to die for. Sadly, it was overly crunchy and stale tasting. The cream inside made it a little better, but there wasn’t enough of it to enjoy the whole dessert

Sweet Cafe with coffee, tea, dessert and food options that are good. Most of all the seating is comfortable and it is a wonderful place to work or linger.

☕️ If you’re ever in downtown Saint Pete, make sure to check out the charming Sorrento Sweets! This cozy little coffee and pastry shop is a true gem.

The spinach and feta croissant was perfectly flaky with a flavorful filling that hit all the right notes. We also got to try a sample of their vegan quiche, which was so delicious that I genuinely wouldn’t have guessed it was vegan if I hadn’t been told! The balance of flavors and texture was spot on.

The staff here are incredible—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even better. Whether you’re craving a pastry or just need a good coffee, this is a spot I’d wholeheartedly recommend. It’s a must-visit for locals and tourists alike!

Vegetarian options: Delicious vegetarian and vegan options. Perfectly seasoned and very flavorful. You won’t miss the meat.
