I chose this cafe because I thought it would be warm and cozy on a cold, rainy day. To my surprise the front door was propped open letting in the damp and cold weather. I thought maybe the heat is turned on so high that they have to keep the door open. But after 30 minutes it got cold inside, and I asked the server if I could close the door. She wanted to know why. I said because I'm getting cold. She replied No, the door has to stay open for air flow. It was just me and my friend in the shop. I'm not sure what problem it would have caused to close the door for the remainder of our stay, another 30 minutes at most, but I didn't feel valued. If the owner had been there I think it would have been a different outcome. In the past I've had only good experiences. But the staff keeps changing and maybe that's why today was different.

My husband and I stopped in as they were about to close. The 2 servers were happy to serve us. We had a lobster tail that was so good and a pc of Alpine cheesecake that was to die for.
Lovely little coffee and pastry shop on Central in downtown St Pete. Super friendly staff, reasonable prices and a nice inside and outdoor area to enjoy or work remote. Very cute ambiance with comfortable furnishings. Stop by! You won’t be disappointed!

Cute coffee shop on Central Ave. Their cheesecakes and cake cups are very good. They have a variety of hot or iced coffee options with seasonal specials. Both the breakfast and lunch sandwiches are very good. The canoli is filled to order and comes in a mini or regular size.

I was disappointed that “Sorrento Sweets might not be the best fit for you”I approached my job with kindness and professionalism. I’m a bit torn as to whether this is a racial issue because I was never given equal treatment for doing a good & consistent job. Very upset that St. Pete has another indifferent franchise owner on the block. 1/10 do not recommend working here if you’re an adult.

My mother and I never walk down central Ave, so we tried this place. Got the FunFetti Cupcake and it didn't taste at all like human food. The frosting didn't taste like frosting or anything I could relate it to. The cake batter also didn't taste anything like cake. The whole cupcake tasted like it was possibly for a dog when it's not...
Great place to get out of the house and work for a couple hours. Tea and coffee are wonderful and so is the food. Both their sandwiches and their sweets ?

Have ordered a couple times for delivery and have never been disappointed. The lavender Earl grey hot with a touch of honey is so cozy and warm. The chicken panini is crisp and flavorful and every dessert ordered has been rich and decadent-- can't decide get a cake cupYou can't go wrong and it's the perfect size! Will order again
