Kind of a weird vibe, but in a good way. Didn’t have a menu but the guy who helped me out had solid taste and we loved everything he made us. The DJs there were great and just got better as the night went on.

I think this is the best kava bar in town. I have been to several of them. First of all, for being downtown (high costs, rent insurance, etc.) their prices are really cheap, considering.

Secondly, the staff and the customer general vibe are great. Everybody seems to be friends. Dogs allowed, you can vape inside (no cigarettes), comfortable AC and couches. They change the music up a lot and they always have something interesting or funny playing on the TV.

Their flavored syrups are made with real fruit, and it is clearly tastier and less chemically tasting than the other stuff.

The coffee is really good, too.

HUGE PLUS: They have their own parking, so if you can get a spot you don't have to worry about meters or moving your car. You can just chill. Pretty sweet for downtown.

The building itself is big and open so if you are claustrophobic (like me) it is quite comfortable.

I don't think I can come up with anything bad to say, not yet at least. I don't think they serve food besides bags of chips and jerky, but what kava bar does serve food?

Stopped coming here because they let people nap on the couches with their feet up where people sit, gross. Steep station is a half block away so I just go there now

Absolute joy everything I go; friendly staff and kavatenders, delicious drinks, outstanding coffee, karaoke nights once a month as well as themed dance parties once a month or so. Absolutely love this place!

Great place to chill, get work done, or socialize. The kava is good and the service is always friendly. The regulars are diverse, the atmosphere is inclusive and the music is always enjoyable.

Oh man! I had the pleasure of being served by Doug the kava tender when I visited Speakeasy Kava Grand Central in St. Pete. He went above and beyond to explain the different adaptogenic and coffee drink options they provide. After a couple of minutes of discussion, recommendations, and making sure they had in stock what he was offering I chose a Golden Lions Milk!!! How friggin cool does that sound dudes! I asked him to spice it up a bit with cayenne which he got as excited as I did about and gladly obliged. I am so happy with this place, the Spicy Golden Lions Milk, and Doug's exceptional customer service that I would highly recommend coming here to experience it for yourself! Love, love, love it!
