We love this hotel and have eaten many times at the Tap Room, usually for breakfast on the patio. Servers are consistently friendly and engaging. Colin was no exception. After walking out of Teak last night, we decided to go to the Tap Room. Husband was thrilled that they serve Allagash White, a draft beer from Maine. At Colin's suggestion, I got a Gasper's Delight, a rum and banana concoction, that was delicious. Husband got the rueben; I got a caprese salad (not the usual presentation) and grilled asparagus ($2 for 4 spears). Everything was fine. No complaints about the food. But Colin elevated the experience--he made a meal that was just fine go to excellent. It was a good reminder that service can often 'make or break' a meal. The Hollander Hotel and this Tap Room consistently hire good employees. Thank you, Colin.

Not impressed. Young man who was our server was in such a hurry with zero personality. Flatbread pizza was just tomato sauce on dough ( no seasoning) and topping. I've had frozen pizza better. Salads came with meal instead of before the main course. Not the same quality as it use to be.

Very cool st Petersburg hotel and restaurant. It's a regular stop when visiting my family. Great food and friendly staff. The outside porch is the best spot. Inside bar and restaurant is always crowded and always noisy.

Not normally a fan of the restaurant in the hotel. We have had some pretty mediocre meals at in-house restaurants. Not the case here! Great menu, great food and very friendly staff. We ate both dinner and breakfast here. Highly recommend!

You ever find a place that is just SOOO special that you only want to share it with your closest friends? Yeah, this is one of those places. Food, service is excellent and the vibe is just about perfect. SO DON'T GO HERE! I want to make sure I can still get a table! ?

Great, consistently wonderful food, drinks, and desserts. Prices are fair ($16-$21 for the entrees I’ve ordered). As a vegetarian, there are multiple options, such as beyond burgers, bucatini pasta, salads, and a portobello entree. The cocktails are a personal favorite, especially their seasonal ones. I usually get seated and served quickly without a reservation, at least during early evening and lunchtime.
