We reserved a private room for my sister's elopement celebration. I was not very happy with the correspondence from our event coordinator, as it felt like I had to follow up several times to get answers. However, on the night of, service was wonderful and they were very accommodating on adding menu options that I forgot to add to our BEO. Overall a wonderful experience and our guests loved the food. Big shout out to our server Angie!

I LOVE this place, my birthday, an afternoon lunch, and Thursday, we celebrated my new career as a 911 Telecommunicator with one of the best servers I've had, Nick. We started our evening with the Guava Collins, and the Charred Spanish Octopus starter, it is one of my favorites and a perfect portion, great flavors, and always timely. Nick allowed us time in between each of our dishes, and refilled our glasses when needed. While I'm a seafood gal, we opted to try the Taverna Steak TarTar this time, and we practically licked the bowl clean! Nick guided us to our main course, where he suggested we start with a savory and balanced Cioppino, our first time trying and I'm an absolute fan for life! We debated Bolognese but instead with Nick's guidance devoured the Squid Ink Linguini, no clash or overpowering in almost all seafood dishes and craving more two days later. Thank you for such a special night, from booking to our departure greeted by Pedro. Thank you so much I am a customer for life!

It would be nice if more Whole Foods Plant Based Vegan plates were available...Vegetarian options: The server knew more about Vegan Dishes than what was on the menu...Being a Vegan, I can make my own dishes, select from the side dishes

Our server was kind and gracious. The Mediterranean salad was all enough for two and very tasty. My wife had the mussels and was very satisfied while we shared a mushroom pizza that was lush and excellent.Parking: A lot of parking on the street but few open spots when we were there (Monday nite).

Beautiful ambiance, great service and quality food.... but, my entire entree was drenched in oil and I didn't have time to send back. It was good and I ate most of it but definitely as the chef to go light on oil for sure. I'll definitely be back in the near future nonetheless.
I ordered the Ciopino. 2 shrimp, no fish, a few very tiny mussels and claims. Maybe 1 oz total of protein. Food was dropped off, nobody came by to check on our food after it was served. Tried to call today, mailbox is full.

I try the tuna tartare everywhere I go and this one was very bland, we also tried the famous meatballs and they were dry. The Burrata was presented very nicely and was good. The Romaine Heart Caesar and the Cioppino were also good. The Salsiccia E Funghi Pizza was delicious. The service was excellent.

Very friendly professional staff from genuine welcome at the desk, to knowledgeable waiter! Food was great. But traffic downtown and Parking a nightmare! St Petes are over developing with insufficient infrastructure to support population!

Always a pleasure to have dinner at Taverna costale! Loved their burrata and foccatia bread, I got the octopus as main dish then and it was delicious. my girlfriend had the famous meatballs and she loved it. First she came to have dinner here and she was impressed :) Their pistachio cake is the best!
