Ordered the bloody on the menu it says pickled veggies I got it with nothing. I asked to get the dressings it was supposed to come with and the server said we didn’t make them today and are low on ingredients. Well if I pay 9 dollars atleast give me celery…..anything. Another server came over and gave me a stick of olives and a lime (still not what it’s supposed to come with) and lied saying this is it and their sorry they didn’t have them prepared. It’s Sunday brunch and it wasn’t even busy. Why can’t we do our jobs? We as people pay a lot 50 dollars for a breakfast and don’t get good service/what is expected. I shouldn’t feel like a bad person for also asking what is to be expected. We ordered chicken and waffles and we’re not given syrup so we had to wait a few minutes for that. The food was good BUT I was charged 16.50 for the chorizo hash when the menu says 14 and their online menu says 15. Why did I pay an extra 2.5? Menus should also reflect the correct prices, pay to get new ones or have a QR codes for a menu if you plan to increase prices. Pretty annoyed, wanted to love this place but deff did not have a good experience. A shame that st.Pete has lost customer service and lacks so much these days.

Such a great vintage neighborhood dinner with an eclectic menu that separates it from other spots. I had the shrimp and grits which had a lovely presentation and was super delicious. They apparently are well known for their biscuits—can’t wait to go back to try them! The price point is fair when you consider the quality of the food. There is an also an express menu with biscuit items if you wanted to keep things on a budget.
Super friendly counter service also like a traditional dinner.
The interior is really well decorated with Knick-knacks and as the name implies, tchotchkes. Definitely has an old Florida vibe for the decor.

This place is BOMB! Service was amazing, and the best Eggs Benedict I’ve had at a restaurant. Fluffy biscuits and perfect eggs. Just moved here from Atlanta and this place is across the street from me! So I will be back A LOT. Compliments to the person/people who cooked our food, you are GIFTED. Thank you so much!

Same old cool place cleaned up and polished. The food is the big surprise here. A surprise culinary experience , quality and care that made it so much more than a diner breakfast. We calibrated our wedding anaversery here after night shifts and it was a surprise treat. The inclusion of a full bar is priceless.

Nice place. I liked what i had but cousin ordered Hash. It wasn't Hash, but a fatty mess. Didn't eat it. Server said she could remove the charge but didn't, even though it was obvious that only one bite was taken. Told her it wasn't Hash! If they removed some or all of the charge, I would go again. The Hash is definitely not what anyone would expect!

A hidden gem! The shrimp and grits is SO GOOD. The portions are large and the cocktails are strong
Dietary restrictions: They don’t have a ton of gluten free options but the shrimp and grits are and they’re amazing

The potatoes were awesome. I had a biscuit with ham, cheese and a fried green tomato, topped with an egg and hollandaise sauce, and it was really good!

Absolutely charming! Gives the old time Diner feel with no mess. Vintage decor tastefully lines the walls, fresh flowers o every table, and the food is amazing. Some unique menu offerings but very delicious all around. We had the 23 and the garden skillet, as well as coffee and potatoes. The atmosphere here is really incredible, and the wait staff was super friendly. Can't wait to go back!

As another review said, they do in fact have big shoes to fill taking over the space that used to be Munches. I could be wrong but it looks like they kept some of the old vintage trinkets from the Munches shelves and they have a little spot on the wall to commemorate Munches; I think that alone has something to say about the likely humbleness of the owners and I can respect that they are still keeping the memory alive.
The wait staff was very friendly and attentive and the food came out in a timely manner.
Looking at the menu, I think the cost to worth ratio depends on what you end up ordering but it does seem as though they are doing their best to keep prices reasonable.
For 2 breakfast meals, a mimosa and 2 standard beverages our total was $46 and some change which is still better than most places these days.
The Aunt Millie did not disappoint at all and is a creative twist on a traditional eggs Benedict, plus it was a pretty hearty portion.
Obviously, nobody goes out to eat for the bathrooms but I do feel as though other establishments could take a page out of their book. They met the bare minimum that the bathroom was extremely clean but they went the extra mile of not only just providing feminine products but good quality diapers in a variety of sizes as well.
I look forward to seeing how they succeed in the future.
