The Blend (34th St N) Coffee & Cocktails

my coffee was supposed to be iced so i asked them the girl at the window if she could kindly pour it over ice and she took it back and i wanted 8 minutes for a simple task to be completed i had enough time to circle the drive through again and it still wasn’t ready so i got out of my car went inside to get it and surprisingly it still was just sitting on the counter so i asked for it and a girl said we will get to you we are super busy and i said i was served already but my drink was just supposed to be iced and i waited in the drive through for 8 minutes and she said we will get to you so i waiting another 10 minutes to get my drink this location doesn’t have anyone that is decent competent when it comes to starting and completing a transaction . i’ve worked in food and beverage my entire life and have never seen a place so dysfunctional.

Delicious coffee, great customer service, and worth any wait time if there might be one.

I spent 12 dollars on a bagel and a drink and they got my bagel wrong asiago and everything don't even sound the same a bit expensive to get someone's order wrong

I walked into this little coffee bar and immediately felt comfortable. I really like the staff and the environment that they've created. The coffee was perfect. Not too sweet. Not too bland. They accommodated everything I would like and the breakfast sandwich I got was fresh out of the oven.

Used to be a regular here and was so excited to revisit when I came back in town. I am not sure what happened while I was gone but there is an entire set of new faces who seem to either not know what they’re doing or don’t care. The drive thru line was wrapped around the building and literally not moving so I decided to go inside. I waited for someone to greet me and was patient as I understood they were busy. What I was not prepared for was the blonde woman in flip flops who I’ve been informed is the owner belittling her staff to the point it visibly slowed them down. I’ve been told the staff I knew quit due to her. I can see why as she kept jumping in front of her staff to do their job as if they either weren’t or couldn’t do it. This location used to be quick, friendly, and it gave an experience I can’t get at a Starbucks. After this most recent visit, I’d say Starbucks is a better option now. I’m disgusted to know this is who we are supporting and this is how she treats the people she employs.

Came to this location the day after Halloween, waited at the drive-thru speaker for a few minutes before anyone said anything, not a huge deal. Once I ordered and got to the window I waited 6 minutes before anyone even said a word to me just to be asked what my name was and what I ordered. The guy at the window then laughed and said sorry we’re having a lot of problems and continued doing what he was doing previously. I waited another 10 minutes and he did the same exact thing again, while there was another taller blonde woman cackling about the situation. This entire time I’m watching cars pile behind me and eventually leave, the issue for me was that I had already ordered so I was stuck waiting. Finally after another 15 minutes passed (literally 31 minutes total) another girl I hadn’t seen yet asked me what my order was, the employee that origins helped me laughed and said hah she actually cares, too bad our owner doesn’t. She gets my order to the person making the breakfast sandwiches and after about 5 more minutes finally gives me the sanwich I ordered 36 minutes ago. Then she asks me what coffee I ordered, and begins making it, at this point almost everyone in line behind me is beginning to pull out of line and leave. I am a super patient person and I get things happen I worked in hospitality for years myself. That being said I will never go back to this location again, there was a severe lack of work ethic among every single person minus the one that actually decided to be helpful. Zero accountability or care for their jobs, if you like the blend like I do I’d recommend the Pasadena location, the people are amazing everytime I’ve been and it’s likely you could drive across town to Pasadena faster then you’ll be served at the blend 34th street!

We do a sisterhood brunch there on Sundays. The staff is always so friendly. The atmosphere is always positive. The food/drinks are always good. My favorite is the sausage croissant with the hashbrown and the strawberry passion smoothie.
