I love coming here in the morning on the weekends. They offer great coffee, teas and baked goods. Service is friendly and accommodating. I'm also able to bring my dog inside which is nice when the weather gets too hot.
The Chelesa St Pete makes a great latte and espresso. The espresso is rich and full body. That great espresso makes for a great latte. The place is too cluttered to me. But that's just my preference. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

So glad we found this adorable coffee and tea shop! You can get English tea service on Sundays for only $26/pp. Lots of outside seating, plants, pastries.

We hosted a baby shower after hours at The Chelsea and our guests cannot stop gushing! Teresa, the owner, was wonderful to work with- she's easy going, organized, and thoughtful. The staff is top tier, making sure the tea service and charcuterie was always refilled. They organized the space for best flow and even added small touches like tea lights and fresh flowers.I cannot recommend hosting your private event at The Chelsea enough. If not that, you at least have to stop by for a coffee or tea! One of my favorite neighborhood spots.

When we arrived, the barista was working alone and very busy. Another barista got to work and took our order. We tipped $5 on a $10 coffee order because they were so busy and we appreciated their hard work. The barista making the coffees pushed our order until after the 7 people that ordered after us. That can happen when a person is overwhelmed. They were clearly agitated and verbalizing it. I ordered a double espresso and received a single. It was not hot. I asked if it was a double and the barista making the drinks was very bothered by my ask and told me it was a double. I finished it and my partner got me another. That one was clearly a double. They told him the machine only makes doubles, but the first time, I simply didn't get the full draw. They probably used the other half in another drink and just wanted to catch up. Yet, we paid for a double and were patient while waiting. The second time, the espresso was colder than the first time despite the fact that I got it faster, so there may have been an issue with the machine. All of that would have been cool if the one barista wasn't rude and didn't bump us to the end of the line. The barista making the coffees was nice to the people their age. Basically, I felt unwelcome because of their attitude. The coffee, even though not hot, was great, and I'll def give them another shot. It's a great location that sells a lot of local products from local businesses. Go, St. Pete!! The barista with the Eeyore overalls was very nice and I really appreciated that. They've got indoor and outdoor seating. Getting busy happens, and how a person handles it is very important, so phooey on that person for souring my first visit, and phooey on people who are rude and don't apologize or appreciate good tips.

My favorite St Pete coffee house. This little Southside coffee shop with its tasty brew and unique gifts is such a treat. The large outdoor patio is great for a casual gathering. I've also caught some comedy acts and musical performances there day and night.
Parking: Nice, large free parking lot adjacent to coffee shop.
