Ordered a Marriott burger.. For some reason was thinking it would have more of a flavorful burger but it had a really strong char taste. Honestly too overpowering.. Wouldn't buy again.

St. Petersburg, Florida This restaurant is inside the Marriott Hotel Clear Water. The atmosphere is nice. Rich earth tones, dark wood, with reddish/orange achair and stool padding. There was soft music playing that was easy to listen to. Some restaurants play there music too The restaurant has a nice bar with a decent selection of wines, beer, and liquor. I had the Whiskey Ginger (Bulliet and ginger ale), it was good. I ordered an 8 piece BBQ chicken wing appetizer. Very good. Tasty, piping hot, and came out quickly. My server was prompt and gave me plenty of time to select my meal. I did not feel rushed. For my main course I had the Marriott burger. An 8 oz burger with bacon, lettuce, and tomato. I had the fries for my side. The burger was just okay. Nothing to write home about. The meat tasted char grilled, but maybe just a bit strong on the char flavor, and also a bit dry. It was cooked medium as I requested and hot. The bun was grocery store quality. The fries were hot, but had some type of coating on them. They were okay, but I prefer regular crinkle cut or straight cut fries without a coating. Overall I give this place a 3. I was just satisfied, not disappointed though. When traveling and needing food and if you don't feel like leaving the hotel it's a decent place to eat. But if you are up to it I suggest venturing out and checking out some of the other restaurants in the area.

No one came to seat us. I had to go the bar and ask if I could seat myself. The hotel bar and restaurant are connected to the pool area which wasn’t ideal for an expensive dinner date in our hotel. The snapper was cooked well but the sauce was more of an Alfredo and really thick. I also had the broccolini and asparagus,I could have had a whole plate of these. The New York strip wasn’t a good cut but had good flavor. The beers were served in an ice cold mug which was really nice. Our waitress was great and saved this review rating.Dietary restrictions: A lot of gluten free options

Perfect location for a date night! Drinks and appetizers, soft music perfect for us to chat and enjoy each other. Good service with attention to detail. The drinks were enjoyable and the appetizers delicious!! We will return for a meal.

Ate with a group of 5 first night, arrived well before closing. Servers acted like we were bothering them. Asked about specials and were told they had none. Very limited menu, only about 5 choices for dinners. As we all ordered I ordered the polenta dinner, was told they were out. Ordered the burger, menu states fresh local ingredients, was served a burger patty that was a frozen pre-made patty. Also ate breakfast 2 days from the buffet, 19.99 on Thursday 15.99 on Friday. The sign said freshly scrambled eggs, they were the eggs restaurants get in a bag, not good. Last night there a coworker ordered a chicken sandwich, he said it was the worst sandwich he had ever had. Server never asked him if everything was okay witch you thought he might since he only took 2 bites and left the rest. Only reason they received 3 stars is because finally on Friday morning did we have a server who actually treated us like they wanted to serve us.
