Made a comment about how they don’t have good accessibility then was told I was “too drunk” to come in. There were girls puking in trash cans that were allowed in while I was not. Since I said something about how they were discriminating, they didn’t let me in.

Went to this bar a few times and it was awesome. The drinks were light unless the DJ got them (friend of hers) though. Tonight I got in (27), but my boyfriend got turned down because he had "too much to drink". He had far less than me, and we hadn't had much. We're pretty sure they thought his ID was fake. Just an altogether strange situation given there was a good size group of us all well over 21. Thought they would have a scanner? They weren't rude or anything, but definitely won't return as it was super uncomfortable. Good atmosphere, though!
Edit: after reading other reviews, this is a COMMON occurrence. Apparently the security is always super rude if you're a male. Makes sense why me and my girls never had an issue! ?

…security just kicked me out no reason, just said throw out your drinks and leave and we won’t have a problem. Standing with friends having fun isn’t there vibe. make it make sense!!!!

One of my favorite bars in the area because it's outdoor and there's always a good DJ there.
Don’t bother going if you aren’t from the US, no one in the US is expected to carry two forms of ID and neither should people from other countries: really disappointing that here in st Pete people can’t get into bars with their official govt IDs if they aren’t from the US, honestly very xenophobic and racist policy that needs to change.

My boyfriend and I have been here a few times before shows. Great margs with super friendly bartenders! Wanted to grab a drink before the Mustard Plug show, but the middle aged African American security guard refused my boyfriend entry because he “didn’t look 6’4 like it said on his license”? We thought he was joking so we laughed. Security guy remained stone faced. My boyfriend offered another form of ID but guy refused to look at it. Absolutely flabbergasted by the experience. Wonder how much revenue he’s lost the place so far?
