Delicious & Beautiful 😍 definitely recommend this cute café style restaurant 😋

Was excited to try this place. Ate here the other day for brunch and wasn’t particularly impressed. Service was quite slow, they kept blaming it on the bar when we could see our drinks sitting there ready to be grabbed for about 10 mins. For the price, there’s just much better options around town. The food was meh. Not great not bad 🤷🏼‍♂️

We were sat almost immediately by staff as we had a reservation. Great atmosphere, drinks as well as service. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the beef cheek benedict I ordered as I feel like the beef texture/flavor didn't really go with the eggs and the benedict sauce. Also, the potatoes weren't that great as it seemed like the they used old oil. Everyone else was pretty satisfied with their meals though which was great as we were there for someone's birthday brunch. $50 for one drink, an entree and auto-gratuity (we were a party of 8) was a bit pricey for me as well. Parking wasn't that bad considering the restaurant's location.

The food was honestly unimpressive to everyone. The grits looked like a side dish and were very small. My flatbread I ordered was dry and flavorless. I had a single piece of it. I asked for a side of whipped feta, that came way after and was charged five dollars for a small ramekin. The server was slower and not super attentive. After only having a piece of the flatbread and saying no to the Togo box , the server never asked if I liked it or how it was. Overall it was very underwhelming for the price. I have no problem paying for food, but it needs to taste like it’s priced. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and the drinks were very good.

Party of four, automatic gratuity was included on our bill to circumvent the fact that we were not going to tip as our waitress was rude and over all neglectful. I have never once contemplated not tipping until today and I was appalled at the fact that a business would insist upon gratuity for bad service.

I normally don't leave negative reviews especially places that I've been to multiple times. I enjoyed going to The Library with family and friends. However, I went today with reservations, we were seated and waited about 10 minutes before our server greeted us, I wanted to order the breakfast burrito with no protein because I'm a vegetarian. When I asked our server about it he said no because it would just be potatoes and cheese, and salsa, I explained to him I'm fine with that because that's what I normally get for breakfast anywhere else, he still stated no and stated I should try the flatbread that I didn't want. I didn't want to be difficult but couldn't understand if that's what I asked for and that's what I wanted why was it a problem. His name was Ryan K. After trying the flatbread (that I didn't want) and I didn't like, which was just cheese and onion on a flatbread. Ryan K didn't asked if I liked it or anything like that. I paid for food I didn't eat or want. He seemed like he didn't care. No accommodations, no understanding, and no customer service. First time experiencing something like this at The Library. Very disappointing and probably won't be back anytime soon. Just wanted to update this and a huge thanks to Gabriel for taking the time and reaching out to me and having great customer serive, you're awsome!

Vegetarian options: Not that many vegetarian options.

Dietary restrictions: Was not accommodating to my vegetarian diet.

Sat at the bar for brunch since we didn't have reservations. Service was great! Drinks were great - had an aperol spritz and a mocktail. I wouldn't say it resembled anything like the George Peabody library but it was very nice inside.

Ordered the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with fries. I didn't think this would go wrong but somehow the chicken was very dry/overcooked. Thank goodness for the aoli, I asked for extra. The second dish ordered was the eggs Benedict. The beef cheeks tasted like under seasoned cheap stew meat and the poached eggs were undercooked (the whites were visibility raw in some spots) - biscuit was ok and the fried capers were nice. The presentation was good on both dishes.

We had to go on with our day so we didn't send it back or bother asking for a refund. Honestly I would try this place again for dinner. Nice restaurant really close to where I live, I want to love it.

It was a unique place to eat with the library decor and such, this was our first time there and enjoyed it. The food was good and would go back again.

Me and my boyfriend ate here in January. We did the prefix lunch menu which had a good variety of choices. We got the chicken sandwich which would have been better but they BARELY put any of the aioli sauce on it. Our waitress took long to come around to check in on us, and overall she just seemed uninterested in being there. Also the warm cookies and milk was definitely microwaved… they came out steaming but was hard as a rock and was cold within a minute. So that was really upsetting. However the soup was DELICIOUS, I really enjoyed it. The place is also cool looking. Im giving this 4 stars because of the atmosphere and the soup. I would try this place again.
