Fun place with a menu that runs from sushi to ribs. Most inventive roll I've ever had. It was lightly tempura fried.

Sushi came out really fast but it tasted like Publix sushi. I ordered the tuna tartar tower and we only got tuna on crackers. Maybe other items on the menu are better but the sushi was not the greatest and I have been to a lot of different sushi places.

I went here for lunch and every person who sat after me was served before me, my sushi order came out wrong, waited 10 minutes just to eat it because I was waiting on spicy mayo, probably the worst sushi i’ve ever had. I would never go back here.

I had the absolute BEST experience at The Lure in Saint Pete! My server, Candace, went above and beyond to make everything perfect. She was so attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, especially with the sushi and tapas. You can tell she genuinely cares about giving guests a great experience. Honestly, it was the best service I’ve ever had anywhere. If you’re coming here, ask for Candace—you won’t regret it! Food was great. Portion sizes were generous. Atmosphere was very friendly. My wife and I loved it! We will definitely be back many times to come.

My wife and I have been to the restaurant many times and yesterday will most likely be our last. For lunch we ordered the hairpin flatbread along with a beer and cocktail. The beer came timely, then someone besides our waitress brought the flatbread, no plates, no napkins, then waitress came after our food was eaten I asked about our cocktail and was told oh that hasn’t come out …. I told waitress if it was made we’ll just take some napkins and tab out if not give me a beer and drink. She said ok. 20 mins later the cocktail which was watered down came out with beer. I asked for tab another 10 mins went by and finally came out. Very disappointed as we have been there multiple times but this has left a bad impression

The vibes were kinda off, my husband and I didn’t really receive a nice and warm welcome upon arrival. We still wanted to give this place a shot.
As for food, the “shoestring” fries are identical to McDonald’s fries. Our burger was dry and tasted like any generic burger. Salad barely had any dressing and the croutons didn’t have any flavor, only got 4 pieces of shrimp on top for an extra few dollar up charge.
Probably better off getting the sushi items, since that seems to be the only good thing about the reviews.
If you were going for food it’s best to keep walking down the strip and see what’s available. Sushi would probably be wayyyyy cheaper too.
