The Violet Stone Pizza & Sandwiches

10/10 Pizza, Philly and customer service are unmatched. Would highly recommend trying if you’re in the area. Make sure and get double meat on Philly, bread is made in house and is very thick.

The cheesesteak is good but the price is pricy! The quality is there, I grew up in the philadelphia area and this is comparable to Angelo's little cousin.

Great pizza! Great cheesesteaks! The atmosphere is a little lacking with only small outdoor seating, but the food is great.

Ordered a plain pizza, shroom calzone and a chicken Ceasar salad. Uber driver showed up at our home and handed us just the pizza and said “the restaurant tried to call us” to tell us they only had a pizza. If that was actually true I would have cancelled the entire order because it only fed one person in our home who wanted pizza. If you don’t have enough food to make the items in your menu shut your uber app off. Instead you take 80 dollar orders for an 18 dollar pizza and screw your customers because you know damn well Uber and the customer have to figure it out thanks to your shortcomings. Thumbs down all around town.

They are way too expensive and not even worth the food, I was told my food was going to be ready 15 to 20 mins , then 45 min later ohh I'm sorry your food is in oven will be done in 10 mins , try to avoid them not worth

I didn’t get a chance to try the pizza this time, but I’m already planning to come back for it. I’m visiting from North Carolina, but I was born and raised in Pennsylvania—so when I heard the owners here are from Philly, I had to stop in.

I went with the cheesesteak, which came highly recommended. It was good—solid 7.5/10 in my book. You can tell it’s made with care and authentic flavors. While I was eating, I saw people around me absolutely loving the pizza. The crust looked perfect, and they’ve got some unique flavors that really caught my eye.

What really sold me? They do their pizzas well done—which is exactly how I like it. Can’t wait to come back and try a slice (or three). Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Great pizza

Best Pizza in the gulf coast we have had. We have been here now 3 times they never disappoint, you do have to wait a bit, but that wont stop us from driving almost 2 hours just for this Pizza and obviously we have to get a their Famous Cheesesteak which we have had since the first time! Always a hit, never a miss!

This place is amazing.... hole in the wall for sure, which usually means it's going to be good food. Best cheesesteaks in the area, as good as anything you'll get in Philly. Had the pizza today and that is awesome too! I live 45 minutes away but I'll make the drive anytime. Go Birds!!!

The owner is a proud racist, ablest, and homophobe. That has absolutely no place in North Kenwood or St. Pete. Who cares how the food taste if the owner is complete trash?

Our Staff loves Violet Stone!! It is a treat we get several times a month in the office. The scheduled delivery is flawless
