The food is great however I paid 5.35 for 1/2 cup of queso and it was barely full when I asked was that all you get he said yes and shut the window as a customer who lives in the area and enjoys the food its unfortunate that that situation was handled like that
UPDATE: OWNER REACHED OUT PERSONALLY AN PROBLEM WAS SOLVED 👍

Great service and food had good flavor. The food was a bit pricey, but worth it. I got the tipsy bowl and would have liked a bit more chicken. Food came out very quick. Overall, good a very solid restaurant.

Buyer Beware. Burrito is not what you think. For $12 you’re expecting it to fill you up right? No. The grande is very small. (Chipotle is much bigger as an example) Maybe 2oz of meat. Also, the tortilla tasted like flour. It was gooey and didn’t seemed cooked enough. Not sure, but that needs to be addressed. It was stretching like cheese. I hope your experience is better than mine.

Unique taco shop with a small bar. The margaritas were good, the salmon was a bit fishy but still good
20 minutes wait for three tacos take out. Delicious tacos , not quite like in Austin, price is too high for the good, you are paying for the atmosphere.

I had an awful experience at Torchy’s Tacos and won’t be coming back. The food was mediocre at best—bland, greasy, and definitely not worth the price. But the worst part was the service, especially the manager.
The manager was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I politely brought up an issue with my order, they acted like I was an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Instead of fixing the problem, they were condescending and unapologetic. I’ve never been treated so poorly at a restaurant.
With so many better taco spots around, I’d recommend skipping this place. Bad food and even worse service—definitely not worth it!
Would you like any adjustments or a different tone?

This is definitely not authentic Mexican food and also the prices were ridiculously high and expensive!! In my opinion it is definitely not worth the money that you're going to spend. Save your money and go to an authentic Mexican restaurant!!

So unfortunate. I was in San antonio for a few years and use to go to these locations all the time. I was super excited when I heard Torchys was coming to St Pete. Waited in line for opening day and all. First time was pretty good, little cold on the inside but no biggy. Came back, quality just went down hill tenfold. Almost a year in a half later the fam picks food up and brings it home tonight; grande burrito in a bowl was so small and mid…..$80 some dollars worth of food and the portion sizes were so bad. The quality, not worth it anymore. Sadly, I can’t say I’ll be coming back to this location. Maybe I’ll try it again in SA if I ever go back.

First time in. Got the Grande Burrito. When they put it together, it has guacamole and sour cream on it. Well, they rolled the burrito, where the sour cream & guacamole were on one end only, not through the whole burrito. So I started at one end and didn't get any guacamole or sour cream until I reached the very end, and that's all it was, no chicken rice or anything. Just guacamole and sour cream in the end. They need to learn when rolling the burrito, to roll it where the sour cream and guacamole are in the whole length of the burrito, not on one end. Might come back.

Great service and atmosphere! If you only like salt and spice, but no flavor, then this is your place.
