This place has potential but really misses the mark. The layout and ambiance is great. Looks like you’re stepping into Key West, but that’s where it ends. The name “Trophy Fish” and logo lends itself to an upscale restaurant, but it’s a much more casual spot - which isn’t a bad thing - but could be disappointing to someone that got the wrong impression based on the marketing. Again, it has a real Key West vibe but is pumping out modern techno music??? The food was just ok. The hush puppies were cooked on the outside but basically raw inside. The shrimp Po Boy was decent. The fish tacos were soaking wet and not much flavor. We wanted to like this place but they just seem to be all over the board without much focus or direction.

Great place with an awesome outdoor vibe and a fantastic menu. The atmosphere is laid-back, fun, and very St. Pete. Happy hour here is one of the best in town, even on Saturdays — $1 oysters, $5 tacos, and great drink specials. The staff is super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Plenty of free street parking nearby, which is a big plus for this area of Central Ave. Definitely on my “must-try” list for locals and visitors alike.

This was my one of my favorite spots!! We went around 5pm and it was still early enough there wasn’t hardly anyone there yet. We ordered happy hour items - the oysters were the best I’ve had!!! A must visit spot!!

I really wanted to give it 3 stars but I couldn’t for these reasons. The menu is super small and it needs updating. I really couldn’t choose out of the options they had and ended u with a po boy sandwich which was tasty. You have to go place your own order at a window. For the price they ask for I would expect to be served. Food comes out on paper plates. The atmosphere is amazing inside and it’s all outdoors so be prepared to sweat. The $15 sparkling wine bottles on Sunday is an amazing deal.

The drinks and vibe are amazing. The Aloe-ha cocktail is a favorite, not too sweet and just enough mezcal and I love their Margaritas. I've been many times and the food is pretty good. Would not recommend the hush puppies. It does get loud on weekend nights with the music and all tables full. Will be back, good place to grab cocktails with friends before music at Cage.
I don’t even know where to begin! The service, food, and atmosphere was amazing. We started with some hush puppies and fish dip and both were amazing. The hush puppies were the BEST we’ve ever had. Next, we had the grouper, and Florida spiny lobster. Oh and can’t forget the shrimp skewers! It’s hard to pick a favorite, but definitely order the hush puppies, lobster (while it’s still in season) and the pina colada!!! Lastly, the atmosphere was amazing. Perfect for a date night, drinks with the girls, or family dinner! They also had live music which was amazing and fit the vibe perfectly.

I was very surprised at how good the food was. The calamari BLT was the best seafood sandwich I have had in a long time. The hush puppies were more-ish. The high hedges kept the Central Ave noise at bay. I will come back here.

Wow! I moved down here from Chicago where hospitality is a survival feast or famine business and have yet to find a bartender down here who cares as much as Koco! From the moment he spotted us in the doorway he welcomed us in with such enthusiasm you would think we were his only customers. He treated everyone in the place like old friends and even brought those sitting close by together to create a welcoming environment for all. Quick on refills and knowledgeable on the menu to give us an incredible experience. We will be back and 99% of that is due to Koco! Thank you for an unforgettable and much needed visit! Banana juice!
