The food was phenomenal! Seriously one of the best meals I’ve had in months and I’m a foodie! My hubby and I shared the uptown eats breakfast sandwich with cheese grits & a whipped feta plate! Mmmmmm! Coffee was perfect also! Then to top it off we added on a tiramisu cheesecake brownie! Delicious!Kid-friendliness: It has a chill coffee shop vibe. You walk in and order food immediately and it’s made fresh very quickly in the kitchen!

My girlfriend and I are new to St. Petersburg. While I was at work she told me that an older blonde lady who looks like the manager yelled loudly at her in front of the other guests as she was putting her stuff down on a table before she ordered. My girlfriend simply did not see the sign, a genuine and little mistake. I also work in the customer service industry and would never lose my cool to a customer like that and embarrass them in front of others even if the issue at hand was 10 times as big as that. I was going to make the owner Dan aware of this distressing and gross behavior coming from this employee as any reasonable owner who cares about his business and customer satisfaction would care about that. Unfortunately, upon looking at other reviews this happens quite frequently to customers by the same blonde, older employee. ‘Little Man Dan’ not only doesn’t address her continued bad actions in his responses to said reviews but he makes excuses for her gross and mean behavior. As a result, I decided that going to such a soft and scared of confrontation owner (Dan) with my complaint would prove to be a wasted effort. However, I can still leave this bad review.1/24, 6:23 pm; My response to Dan’s (the owner’s) response to my original review:1. Misunderstanding vs. Mistreatment: My girlfriend’s honest mistake of not seeing the sign due to the crowded cafe should not have been met with a public reprimand. An apology from another employee for the older blonde lady’s behavior suggests that the treatment was indeed inappropriate.2. Repeated Behavior: It’s concerning that this type of incident is not isolated, as evidenced by multiple reviews mentioning similar experiences with the same employee. It raises questions about leadership and the willingness to address staff behavior that repeatedly affects customer satisfaction.3. Confusing Policy: You acknowledge that the seating policy can be confusing. This confusion, paired with harsh enforcement, seems to be a recurring theme in negative reviews. A more effective approach might be to ensure the policy is clearly communicated and to handle misunderstandings with empathy and professionalism.4. Proposed Solutions: To prevent further misunderstandings, consider additional ways to communicate the policy, such as a friendly reminder at the entrance or a brief explanation by staff when customers arrive. Creating a more welcoming atmosphere for addressing simple mistakes can enhance the overall customer experience.5. Customer Experience: The goal should always be to make customers feel valued and respected. Some lady working there who looked like the manager, yelled at me inside when i was at the front of a long line. She said i was causing an issue because i sat my things down at a table before ordering. I guess their policy on that is so strong they are willing to lose business over it.

Great little spot for breakfast and lunch. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Both the food and the staff were great. I will eat there again for sure !!!
My Uptown Sandwich and my husband's Uptown bowl were INCREDIBLE, paired with a hot latte & iced matcha. Customer service was top notch as well. Also their baked goods!!! How could I forget. They have such a great business and I'm looking forward to heading back from Bradenton.
Friendly and efficient service. Excellent food! The breakfast sandwich was the perfect size with super soft brioche bun and proportioned egg and bacon (a lil something in every bite). The side of potatoes were perfectly seasoned and my cafe mocha was divine! Will for sure be back!

The food is incredible here. Healthy and generous. It's beautiful and chill as atmosphere- quick and easy to have a great breakfast. You order at the counter and then get a table, helping the flow of the space. There's always a table turned over for you once you order even if it's full and busy.The coffee is incredible- I had a double espresso and their bean roast and pulling of the cup was perfection.The baked good are varied and amazing. I wish I could have tried them all!And I have the greens and egg dish - spinach and collard greens and vegetables made me feel so energized for my whole day.Oh and the GRITS. And potatoes!Really. Amazing
