We just had the pleasure of trying Yummy Thai for the first time and finding that it is now our favorite Thai restaurant in the area. We loved every single dish, and Evelyn's service was outstanding as well. We think with a few aesthetic updates (we're happy to provide tips), this place could be the talk of the town. Incredibly delicious Thai food dinner last night at Yummy Thai and reasonably priced. Clearly the best we have ever had in St.Pete. Crispy duck curry so flavorful, tender melt in your mouth with perfect sauce, paired with rice noodle & mango heavenly blue sticky rice dessert. Our server Evelin was very helpful. The level of food excellence outshines the uninspired look of the restaurant. Can’t wait to come back. Wonderful experience.

This was the worst buffet I've been to. They advertise it as an all you can eat buffet that lasts until 2:00PM. We arrived at 12:30PM and there was enough food for the two of us to get about half a plate each, then the food stopped coming out and the buffet was completely empty. After waiting 20 minutes, the food still wasn't getting refilled and we told the server that the buffet had been out of food for quite some time. She asked what we'd like refilled... and we said everything because we came for a buffet and still haven't seen much food since we arrived. She said they weren't used to being busy, but there were only about 5 diners having the buffet. They turned off the warmers and shut down the buffet 40 minutes early without saying anything to anyone still waiting for food. They have signs posted that say there will be an extra charge for wasting food. They seem so concerned about the possibility of food being wasted that they don't give their customers what they're paying for.

My favorite Thai food is Penang curry and I tried theirs for the first time and they made it to perfection. I got level 2 spice and it was so flavorful and yummy!!

The massaman curry is delicious here. The best massaman curry I've probably ever had. All the ingredients we're so fresh and bursting with flavor. I will say, the portion was smaller than average and it was just enough to satisfy me as a tiny person so I would definitely order a side to feel more satiated.

Open at 11:30, here at 11:45 and Food is cold. Only 2 other people eating. Rice tastes extremely fishy, no flavor in the noodles. Ordered hot tea. Asked for sugar and she said Splenda only. Canned soda and watermelon for dessert. Only plus is the waitress was nice.

The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because if you get there right after opening the food is not hot. Apparently they don't turn on the steam tables early enough. Otherwise everything was fine.
