Zaytoon Grill exceeded our expectations. We are of middle eastern descent and were very happy with the food served. We ordered the mixed grill and it was excellent. In addition the staff was very accommodating and pleasant. We will be back at Zaytoon's next time we are in St. Petersburg.

My son and I just stopped in on the way to a Tampa rays game. The food came quickly and was delicious. We especially liked the falafel. It was fresh and piping hot. The tahini salad was also delicious. This is a mom and pop kind of place that has been around for a long time. We can't wait to go back next time I'm in town!

The food is top notch and amongst the best we have had during our trip. Ordered the Zaytoon Philly with beef - if you enjoy a Philly cheesesteak, this will certainly not disappoint; the flavor is fantastic.

Such a great place.The falafel pita pockets were fabulous.Freshly cooked and stuffed with tomato and lettuce and pickles. The falafel was especially good.Moist and flavorfulQuick service and friendly staff make a must stop.Also, great prices. You will walk away full, and still have $$ in your pocket.Ps if you like baclava, get a chunk to finish off your meal. Deeeelicious!!!

The service is great. The food also. This is why I give 5 stars. But - I do wanna say the amount of hummus in the hummus platter was very scant. And a platter of falafel was only 5. Not enough for the pricing. Still want to give 5, since overall experience was good. Ambience is of a very small diner.

Food was horrible with no flavor or spices! if you want authentic mediterranean food this NOT the place the food had no flavor, salt, or spices and my chicken pita was cold itself. They were fine in terms of service. They got my order wrong but happily replaced it. The food overall was not worth the price tag at all!

Let me start up by saying I'm a bit old-fashioned when it comes to restaurants. I love classic "Mom and Pop" restaurants. I definitely don't know all the particulars... But this seems as classic as it gets. I've been going to this restaurant for over five years and the same sweet lady has greeted me every time I've ever stepped foot inside. She greets you with a smile as wide as smiles can be and calls everybody "honey". It's adorable. So now that you know the restaurant is the cutest little restaurant with the cutest family feel... What about the food? You don't need to be a rocket scientist to realize that if I've been going there for over five years, it must be pretty good. If you're in the mood for Mediterranean flavors... Zaytoon is the best in town. I'm particularly fond of the appetizer sampler platter because you get so many flavors and tastes. It's an appetizer you could share with your family or you could order personally as a meal. That's what I did today... Ordered it as a meal and got a side of lamb. Great combo. So if you're in downtown St. Petersburg and you're in the mood for Mediterranean... I strongly recommend Zaytoon Grill.
